How to unlock the Burn Baby Burn achievement in Defense Grid 2 - Definitive Guide

Inferno towers are one of the two towers you start with.
One of the easiest ways I have found grind these types of achievements (if its for a tower type you don't use) would be to play level 12 on Practice on Easy (I believe you can play any level at any time you want, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)
Even on Story Mode, you can essentially beat the level with just the 8 tower spots around the core housing, and maybe one tower blocking the quickest route.
I build 3 cannons along the side closest to the ship, a concussion on the single spot near this, a temporal on the spot across the road, and then at least one tesla among the other 3 spots.
When the level is nearing its end (1-2 waves left) just fill as many spaces as possible with the tower you are working on.
I was able to get at least 50 of the tower I was working on on any particular run (and that was on Story Mode - less resources)

You can do something similar on any level when you finish as long as you remember. This is just for if you are solely trying to grind out this achievement.

As with all other achievements in this game, this achievement will not unlock until you finish the level.

The easiest way to do this is to play the prologue mission(the 1st one). You can only use gun or inferno towers. There are 21 spots to place towers on the map(you can only use 20 as you need to leave one open for a path for the aliens). Just fill up the spots with inferno towers, play the mission five times while doing this to get the achievement. Should take about 10 minutes total and also works for the Leadhead achievement

Ok! A real easy way to get all 100 builds of each type.
Load up Threshold on easy scroll down to Fully Loaded and you have access to everything.
You want to place the first 2 of anything you want to make them go the long way to the reactor then you start placing your builds to stop them from getting to the reactor, once you stop them getting to the Reactor you speed them up to get your resources. There is a spot at the back corner by the Reactor . This is where you Build and destroy over and over again.
Just remember that it wont pop until your done.

Inferno towers are unlocked straight from the start of the game and deal damage by bursting out flames onto enemies. This trophy is cumulative, so just build 100 of these towers over the course of the game to obtain it.

You will most likely obtain this trophy through natural play, but if you don’t you can get this fast and easy by playing missions in training mode. Build as many boost towers as you can right off the bat and just let the mission run out. You don’t actually have to win the mission for the towers to count. That trophy itself won’t pop until the mission is over.

From the Tower Encyclopedia: The Inferno tower can take out many enemies at once, but is fairly limited in its range. it is especially effective against swarmers or any aliens which clump together. its constant damage output on a target make it extremely useful against regenerating aliens. Because it is fire based, it is weaker against shields.

This achievement requires that you build 100 Inferno towers across all of your games. Your particular playing style may mean that this unlocks naturally without any particular effort. However, if you don't tend to use Inferno towers, or simply want it to unlock more promptly, you can play Chapter 19 in Practice mode on easy and play only Inferno towers. You can easily place 100 towers on this map and unlock the achievement at the end of the game, win or lose.
