How to unlock the Exterminator achievement in Defense Grid 2 - Definitive Guide

Should unlock this by the third or fourth mission. I had just over 350 in the first mission, just over 400 in the second and just under 500 in the third.

It should unlock at the mission summary screen.

As you play each level you are attacked by aliens. Each alien you kill with your towers or special weapon counts toward this achievement. Now, if you play the game you will easily get this naturally, but if you wish to boost than start level 1, which has 350 aliens(-/+), beat it, and repeat 2 more times. Achievement will pop as you enter the stats page

Simply kill 1,000 aliens to obtain this trophy. This trophy is technically unmissable as you’ll be killing a lot more aliens than the required number over the course of the game, so there’s no need to grind for kills.

You will get this your second or third game. It is unlikely that you can complete all achievements in Defense Grid 2 without killing 100,000+ aliens.
