How to unlock the Flawless Victory achievement in Defense Grid 2 - Definitive Guide

This can easily be gained by playing the Prologue level.
Simply build 1 gun tower and upgrade it to level 3 when you have enough resources.
This will be able to solo the entire level. If for whatever reason it can't you'll have plenty of room for more towers.

If you want to play it safe you can honestly just fill the whole level with gun towers. Obviously easiest playing on lower difficulties.

This achievement should unlock at the score screen.

After completing a mission, you can earn a medal based on your performance. You get more points for completing a mission with as few towers and upgrades as possible, for killing aliens as fast as possible, and for having all of your cores and a lot of resources left at the end of the mission. If your score is high enough at the end of the mission, you’ll earn a gold medal. If you’re having difficulties then try playing on the easiest setting and you should have no difficulties getting a gold medal in every mission.
