How to unlock the No Sale achievement in Defense Grid 2 - Definitive Guide

This can easily be gained by playing the Prologue level.
Simply build 1 gun tower and upgrade it do level 3 when you have enough resources.
This will be able to solo the entire level. Honestly with any tower combination it should be impossible to fail the level without at least 1 core left.

Barring that, any level on Practice Mode should be about impossible to fail as well.

This achievement should unlock at the score screen.

Don't bother trying getting this achievement, because on your way for the 'Master Strategist' achievement ('Earn 100 Gold Medals on any missions'), you'll get it.

Here's a YouTube playlist made by JogandoEAndando with videos on how to beat EVERY mission on EVERY mode on NORMAL difficulty. I've used it from A to Z to beat the game (50hrs) and each guide is perfect. JogandoEAndando never sells towers in his videos, so just follow what he does. Very nice work from him, congrats!

As the trophy description states, simply don’t sell any towers and win the mission to obtain this trophy. This trophy is virtually unmissable and will surely come through natural play.

This is straight forward enough that you may unlock it your first mission. Generally, selling towers wastes resources, so most games you won't be selling any. Simply put you need to win any mission in any mode without selling anything.
