To unlock EGOtistical you must hit an EGO rating of 500.
EGO is the level rating within the game of Defiance, and is raised in two ways.
A) you have a yellow XP bar at the bottom of your HUD. All experience earned in game, whether completion of a quest,or killing a bug will add to this bar. When you completely fill this bar, you will raise your EGO rating by 10.
B) you can raise your EGO rating via pursuits. Each completed pursuit will raise your rating by a certain amount, from 5 to 40. When you complete all goals within a pursuit, your level will raise by the chosen amount with an onscreen message saying 'pursuit complete'.
Via a combination of both methods, you will gradually raise your EGO rating. To unlock this achievement, simply hit EGO 500.

Interesting didnt know your rating increased because of pursuits. Thanks for the info!

last time I logged off the game I was a 491, patched and updated today and now I am a 531 and the cheevo did NOT release... thanks a lot for adding exp defiance, now get my cheevo to pop

This is unlocked by reaching an EGO rating of 500.
