Defiance Free to Play

For the four factions you must progress to 100 reputation within that faction by doing Daily and Weekly Contracts. You do NOT have to increase your reputation with Paradise Territory, just with the 4 mentioned in the achievement.

Update: A fellow here said that he bought a faction gun for 50 faction points and his faction did go down, but when he reached 90/100 toward the first faction increase (Familiar), he got the upgrade to familiar status even though his bar still read 90/100, meaning the game still knows you earned that faction even if you spent it.

You just need to reach Familiar status with all 4 for this achivement.

To find what contracts you can do, hit Start, Hold Lt, go to the top right of the wheel to Goals, then tap Rb to switch from Pursuits to Contracts.

Daily contracts award 10 reputation.
Weekly contracts award 50 reputation.

Reputation levels are as follows:

0 - Unknown
100 total - Familiar (this is enough to unlock this achievement)
300 total - Reliable
600 total - Trusted (enough to unlock Widely Regarded)
1000 total - Max rep points you can have at once. If you reach 1000 banked you might as well spend some.
