This achievement is luck-based, as we all suspected. It appears to be a random reward for doing an incursion, and unlocks at the end of the incursion. People have unlocked it as early as their 2nd incursion when finishing in 14th place out of a large pool of people. It just just a random reward for doing incursions. It also isn't an item reward, so you may unlock it even if you just get a shitty green weapon for the incursion. It is merely a 'title' you can put on your character, much like the pursuit titles. I'll put a comment made by JuicyJams here for info because it seems to have worked for more than one person. I know for certain I did the same thing once and didnt get the achievement, but he states it worked on a dummy account too and another user confirmed it as well. Try it before completing incursions in this POS game.

After doing over 107 incursions and opening aprox 16 boxes I decided to try something that I kept reading about and this is what worked for me first try. I saw on my map a yellow incursion marker. (They hop around on the map until it ends at a location whre you have to capture and protect points like a siege.) I drove to the yellow marker got out shot a bad guy to just earn a few points (didn't kill him). I simply didn't follow the incursion anymore. I didn't fast travel. I drove around and did other little missions that would pop up like killing bugs etc. When the timer for the incursion ended (they take 15 min once they are at the actual capture site.) my achievement popped. I was no where near it. If your struggling do this. I did it on my spare account worked first try again. I hope it helps.

Just keep doing incursions and you'll get it eventually, probably long before you finish the 7th Legion Rep achievement.

I've played lot incursion [16] and i don't have this chevo..damn ... I arrived 1st, 3th, 10th, 12th, 20th, but nothing to do ... I hate the achievements of luck!

I got this buying my first 7th Legion Supply Crate at the vendor in Overpass. They cost 100 rep. I had done 10 incursions with no kitty.

Has anyone experienced getting the pursuit and the title completed in their journal, but not getting the achievement? A friend of mine is in this situation (I can confirm it, I've seen the screen with my own eyes), and we're worried he may not be able to get the achievement now.

This just popped for me on my first incursion, it was at Diablo station and i finished 19th overall (i joined half way through the incursion) dont know if this wil help anybody but thought i would post it

I was just walking along near Cronkhite Bunker and this achievement unlocked at random, without even an incursion going on in that region. I knew of the achievement but not what it required to unlock, so I scoured the immediate area for a mob that looked like a white cat or something, but found nothing. Apparently, the lucky kitty is just a super rare loot drop from literally anything or anywhere.

You probably got credit for an incursion you passed through without even meaning to Mobius. You don't even have to do anything to get credit for incursions as far as I can tell, as long as you're in the immediate vicinity when one of the emergencies is completed or a control point is capped during the seige phase.

I hadn't even gone into an incursion yet. Just started playing this game again today after a long hiatus. I got this achievement after I fast traveled to the consulate(?). I do believe I opened the seemingly free lockbox I got from the 7th Legion for getting the DLC though. Could that have triggered it?

I now believe this is unlocked when you get the "Lucky Kitty" title in a lock box from an incursion reward or, if by some odd mircale(such as with me), the lock box gifted to you from installing the DLC in the first place. The solution of course still stands as it's still random from which lock box you would obtain it. But, I think this is the unlock 'condition' of this achievement. Really no mystery solved, but that's how I think I got it so quickly.

It is man that was known. It's just random luck when you get the title. It can be a lockbox or the end of an incursion.

I have the title on my main character (got it randomly, but the achievement never popped - in fact it may have happened while I lagged out of the wonderful Trion servers at the end of an incursion) So i have started another character who simply just does incursions - it is up to 24 completed incursions (got 2 orange weapons which seem to be more common than this title) and has purchased 2 7th Legion Supply crates and still no Kitty...horribly frustrating

So I still don't have this dumb Luck based cheevo....
406 Tracked gamers have the dlc and 400 currently have the achievement. Ive done so many incursions and bought 7th legion supply crates i cant count anymore. I knew I had bad luck with this game when I got my 1st orange weapon at ego 2550, but this is redic.

Ronin check your characters titles and your claimable items. You may have gotten it during a lagout/disconnect. If you did the achievement wont unlock unless you create a new character and get the title to drop for you again.

I highly advise just shooting one enemy at an incursion then leaving the area and wait someplace less laggy until it is over so that if you DO get the kitty drop you dont crit out during the end of the incursion.

I’ve messaged that last 3 people who got this achievement 2 of them say to do incursions for 10 hours a day for weeks and hope for the best and the other said he did hundreds then finally he got it at the bathhouse incursion right after the scoreboard screen.
So there you have it..... knowbody actually knows for 100% what unlocks this, but the closest guess would be dumb luck!

I've done over 200 total incursions at all 10 locations. I've come in first, last and in the middle. I haven't bothered counting supply boxes that I have opened. I still don't have this.

@TheFuzzyWhale, you have to be extremely careful with the "information" that veterans of the game give you, because 95% of the time they're just being assholes and intentionally giving you misinformation to make you waste your time. I completed the entire game and have *never* seen a mob named lucky kitty, and I actually received this achievement completely at random when near Cronkhite Bunker. I did not pass through any incursions on the way and I certainly wasn't near or in the Academy siege, and was only shooting at random blitzers in my way.

@fuzzywhale - Well, you are rude, and fuck off because I DID get the achievement from finishing an incursion as a reward, NOT from some special named mob, as did several of my friends. Did you happen to notice I 100%'d this game.

It wouldnt surprise me at all if Trion's dumb asses either broke or changed it since I wrote this solution, which was ages ago. The solution was correct at the time that I wrote it. But good luck with that shit show of a game.

This one has me just beside myself. It's the last achievement I've got in the game and I've done countless incursions. I just tried what @Juicyjams suggested but it didn't work for me. I created a new character, did all the crap you need to do before you can play, drove to an incursion, shot a guy, did a simple mission or two and in the end got nothing. The first time I tried it the incursion was on the last phase so I did another one that was just starting to see if it would be different but nope. I'm thinking I might have fast travelled by accident in the second one so I'll try again tomorrow.

Yeah Bill IIRC if you fast travel your shard may change invalidating the incursion for you.

The funny part is, I didn't get the usual pop-up notification with stats at the end of the incursion but I got a random XP notification. I'll try tonight and see what happens. It's getting old real fast.

This achievement is basically equivalent to Jimmy Jenkins in terms of rarity. It's absurdly rare and some people get it by accident while others grind forever and are not lucky at all.

There is a pursuit for the lucky kitty and you should check if it's still incomplete. If you've already earned it, live chat support can pop achievements for you if you bring it to their attention. You may not even need the bugged pursuit to begin with -- they gave me the Warmaster achievement after I took 5 minutes to tell them about how my connection is so shitty that I could never participate in a Warmaster raid without being disconnected.

I’ve now done 108 incursions and 3 of them were in Silicon Valley by myself and opened 23 7th legion supply boxes and nothing yet. My next step is to delete the game and not look back. After reading comments on people who get this after doing like 5 or less incursions is just absurd. I don’t believe this is random anymore.

You might try PMing some of the recent winners and ask when they got it. I firmly believe it is 100% RNG based and nothing you do apart from doing the incursions affects whether you get it. People have unlocked it just in the past week.

Also you may have gotten the title without the achievement unlocking and not even realized it I would suggest creating a new character and trying incursions on the new one.

I’ve managed to complete incursions by myself with knowone else there in Silicon Valley late at night and when it ends I’m the only one on the scoreboard and still no achievement. That goes to show you how Fucking Stupid this achievement really is if your the only one there and u still can’t get it.

I am so tired of trying to get this :'( Been trying for over 2 years now -_- easily done over 1000 incursions, I don't understand how there can be that much of an extreme when it comes to people popping it almost straight away compared to me :(. May have to try creating a new character and using that for a bit and see if it makes any difference...

I'm wondering if the changed the drop rate. The last person to earn this was on July 30th, and before that it had a steady pace of unlocks. It seems a little iffy that since then no one has unlocked it. Going from 2-3 people a month to no one in 6 months...

@Juicyjams comment worked for me first attempt after well over 200 incursions all over the map and countless 7th legion crates. I'd tried getting to the end siege phase then leaving multiple times but never tried participating in the incursion to just before the final area and then letting other players trigger and finish the final phase. Unlocked instantly as the incursion expired.

Well, ultimately I failed to get this and now it's done. Tried all the various things in the comments above but nothing ever worked. In a last ditch effort I reached out to support again about 3 weeks ago to see if they could do anything. They responded today saying sorry but the servers are closed. Dicks.

Me too man. I finally got it myself last night. Just remember you will be doing between 60 and 100 incursions at least if you plan on getting your 7th legion rep to the max for the other achievement, so there is plenty of time for luck to kick in. Fortunately it's not nearly as luck based as the warmaster achievement originally was.

Side note - a resent patch has made it so u don't get credit if u leave the area of a Incursion Or a Arkfall so u have to STAY till the end to get credit, no matter how laggy. They have fixed the lag alot though, I play everyday still

I hate to be rude but this solution is nothing but a croc of shit. I've went over this achievement with multiple veterans on the game and they all stated you get the lucky kitty from a special enemy during the mutant incursion in bloodbath at the academy siege. The enemy looks identical to the mutant minigunner except for its name being lucky kitty (fuck you Trion). I have completed over 100 incursions and bought multiple 7th legion supply crate only to get worthless garbage.

Update finally got it! 357 incursions and 92 7th legion supply crates. So I got it from the incursion in Silicon Valley (the bottom island on the map) and I was only there for about 2 minutes and it ended I was in sixth place with only 1100 points. Also it pops right away when it ends. My strategy after months of trying this would be keep doing the 3 incursions in Silicon Valley either late at night or early in the morning because there’s really knowone there making your odds much better. Like when I got it I was In last place but there was only six of us there compared to the popular ones there there might be closer to 50 people there. If u find the right time of night/early morning u can do these incursions yourself sometimes which really helps your odds.

The Lucky Kitty is a random reward received from incursions or found in 7th Legion supply crates. Just keep completing incursions or buying crates until you get it. When you do get it, you'll complete the "Lucky Kitty" pursuit, and gain the Lucky Kitty title for use on your character.

There have been reports of this achievement not unlocking, even though the "Lucky Kitty" pursuit is completed. If that happens, the only solution is to try to get the achievement with a different character, as the pursuit won't be completed on a new character.
