How to unlock the Now You See Me achievement in Deliver Us The Moon - Definitive Guide

This is in the final chapter. Use the pillars to guard yourself against each pulse. When it pulses, move to the next pillar. Here is a video as a reference.

Here is my 100% Achievement Guide for Deliver Us The Moon!

This is obtained during chapter 6 (Tombaugh Facility) and is the last Misc achievement we can get.

You push this canister into a slot and this big ass mechanism starts firing up.
So first of all, you need to get to a room on the left which is easy, just go from pillar to pillar make sure you are in the shadow to get the screen back to normal. (When you are exposed to the machine, the screen goes extremely blurry).

Once you get to the room and push the button, this is where the achievement starts from.
Every few seconds it will unleash this powerful pulse and you HAVE to make sure you are behind one of the pillars.
If you get hit, restart the checkpoint and try again (We need to get through here without being hit).

So once you push the button, and the machine starts moving, wait until the shadow gets by the door and go along with it, then move up to the stairs on the left.
Be careful here, as we are trying to get to the first pillar, but try not to get too far ahead.

Once you are there, my advice is to wait once or twice until it unleashes the pulse, and IMMEDIATELY sprint to the next pillar.
The screen goes very blurry, and you may have trouble seeing, but it is easy to see where the shadow of the pillar is on the floor, so make sure thats where your lookign so you know where to stop.

Once you get to the end, if you go into the room with the elevator, a checkpoint appears and if you messed this up somehow, you miss the achievement and have to start again.

So when you do reach the end, just wait outside the room (Don't worry, you can't get hit from here) until it unlocks, and then move on!

If you want to see a visual, go to 2:38:20 in my video!

Hope this helps!

I messed this achievement up my first time and had to play the level over again. For me, the achievement didn't pop until I went into the elevator and was forced to get the checkpoint (you got yours before you entered the elevator).

This one is for the part right after you activate the reactor core near the end of the game. Once you go up the stairs and press the button to fire it up, the reactor will start pulsing. You need to avoid these pulses until you reach the exit. One won't kill you, but two probably will.

Note: if you don't get it by the time you get to the elevator, restart the checkpoint. If you made it, even if the achievement pops late, you won't have to replay the chapter. Thanks to JACKKAV for the comment. toast

From the button, stay in the shadow as you go left and up the stairs. You need to hurry a little to get to the first pillar to keep from getting caught in the blast. Stop at the first pillar, wait for the next blast, then go. I suggest stopping at each pillar and waiting for another pulse before moving on. You can't run very well, and you can't see well at all, so this will be tense. If you don't make it, let the blasts kill you and restart.

Once you get to the elevator, run into it. The achievement is slightly slow to pop, so pause before using the elevator to make sure you get it. You should still be able to go back and kill yourself to reset the section if you fail it. This took me three runs, but once I got to the elevator, it popped. I was a little worried because by the end, I could barely see, but it worked.

Hope this helps! toast

Your solution isn't very clear. Are you saying to not die in this area and that's how you get the achievement?

I'm saying don't get hit by the pulse.

You might want to add a warning because once you pass through the hallway it automatically saves a chaeckpoint regardless whether you have the achievement or not and you will have to redo the entire level all over again

Also the momentum took me so I was alreadly in the hallway when I realised it saving

In Tombaugh Facility, after you’ve cut the cables on the monorail and opened up a new hole, you’ll plug in a Helium-3 cannister which reactivates the reactor. To get this achievement, you need to clear the next area without getting hurt by the reactor core.

Now, you will take a bit of damage from the light from the reactor, but this is fine as there’s no way to avoid that. What you do want to avoid is the rhythmic pulses from the core - hence the trophy description. The pulses will start once you hit the big button on the other side of the room, causing the shadows you took cover in to start moving.

Follow the shadow to the stairs, and then take cover behind the pillars, waiting for each explosive pulse to finish before running to the next pillar. Once you reach the last pillar, and you see an open door, wait until the next pulse and then sprint through the door once it finishes. The achievement should unlock straight away.

If you mess up at any point, or the achievement doesn’t unlock, pause the game and then load to start the section again.

Before the very end, after installing the fuel element, run between bursts of reactor energy.
After the room with the switch in the shadows, run up to the stairs. And there, between dashes, hide from the release of energy at the pillars.
You can be in the heat, but you can’t take damage from the discharge. If you fail, then die and repeat after loading.

If anyone has problems with dashes, advice: look down, on each “bulkhead” - at the bottom, a bright red stripe-lamp glows, it will serve you better navigation.
