Warning = It appears that a recent patch has made this achievement (and the "get run over by a car") unobtainable for some people. Unfortunately, no solution exists at the moment. We can only hope for a future update. Gameloft is still updating this game occasionally, contrary to what they said in a past news on their Facebook page.

The Mall is the 4th world. The first opportunity you have to unlock this achievement appears on level 37.

The achievement says that you need to get run over by a bus, but you can simply hit the side of the yellow bus and it counts. Repeat 15 times and the achievement will unlock. It is cumulative, and you can restart the same level to get this.

If your are logged onto Facebook, you can unlock this achievement on a Win8 device and automatically unlock it on your WP (and vice versa).

My counter for this achievement stops working. No idea what has happened. I even started on a different device from scratch. However, none of the trackers for any similar achievements (bumping into a freezer on beach, into a long rocket in Gru's Lab, into na eye security camera in Vector's Home) work.

There are 2 counters in this game. One for Xbox achievements and the other for in-game achievements. If I remember correctly, the one for Xbox achievements is not working properly, but the in-game counter works.

I'm pretty sure the recent update breaks the trackers. I've tested this on both WP and WIN8.1 using new GamerTags, and none of them works.

Still no luck. I keep trying periodically and nothing. I notified the publisher and they said Devs are aware of the issue and will try to resolve as soon as possible. I am doubtful since they said this game isnt getting any more updates a little under a year ago.

They have been updating the game every once a while. However, this glitch wasn't fixed in the most recent update.

I contacted PlanesWalker 97 and he was able to unlock Hitchhiker. So both achievements appear to be fixed now.

Also success on Windows 10. Game got updated and I had to download some content again to play the area. Got hit by bus 15 times, claimed the reward, restarted the game and achievement unlocked.

The 4th world level 37 is a Holloween residential area, I don't see a mall and I don't see any yellow buses..they're purple

The world starting at level 37 is now (it seems permanently) Halloween themed, so you'll need to hit the purple one-lane wide buses 15 times. The buses do not have to be moving for it to count. I'm not sure if purple buses at intersections count as well.

Progress towards the achievement can be tracked by clicking on the fruit symbol in the upper right and navigating to the third tab (so not via the button with the xbox logo).

I had an update for Win 8 and WP today. After updating, I got hit by a bus and the reward started tracking again. I got hit 15 times and the reward notification popped up.

I redeemed the reward, restarted the game, and the achievement unlocked.

Then synced the WP ver and it unlocked there too.

Not sure if other achievement is fixed. Haven't made it far enough in the game to test.

The Residential area is the third area you unlock and begins at level 24.

You don't necessarily have to get run over by a bus, you only have to run into a bus. Just run into a bus, parked or moving, 15 times and the achievement is yours.
