How to unlock the Seal the Deal achievement in Destiny 2 - Definitive Guide

Hopefully the final edit:

As of this moment, with the recent update it appears if you've unlocked any of the seals, it will now pop the achievement on the menu when logging in. A few people in the comments have confirmed this happened to them. If you've yet to earn a seal then hopefully from this moment, any of the seals should be good to unlock the achievement.

If there's a particular seal that's easy I shall update the solution.

Edit 7: Posted by Za Pantsupati in the comments
Make sure to have the Forsaken DLC installed if going for Glorious seal, as without this installed, it won't unlock the achievement when completing that seal, and probably goes for all the Forsaken seals.

Edit 6: Posted by Gh0stivan in the comments
That a new triumph called Glorious that popped their achievement.
I think it's called glorious and it should be permanent, isn't linked to any seasonal objectives.

Edit 5: Had a few people comment to say that they've done the Dreaming City seal, and it's not unlocked, so not sure if it's become broken due to all the changes.

Edit 4: Posted by mrbellek
Just saw an announcement that the Unbroken seal is being retired in season 19. This means that season 16 is the latest you can still start to make progress towards it and unlock it in time. This is the current season and lasts until May 24th.

Edit 3: Posted by Solobrus22
Also remember to activate the title.
I did the sign out/in trick, didnt unlock the achievement..

30 min after i signed in i activated the title, and achievement popped 30 sec later (a bit delayed).

Edit 2: Thanks to Solobrus22
i unlocked the collection badge by getting the beyond light european collector.. could there been an update that now allows more seals then just the forsaken ones?

Edit 1: Removed Wayfarer and Chronicler as they are both no longer available. Thanks to duckonabike for commenting this little detail.

Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop, all seasonal and Beyond Light triumphs will not count towards this achievement.

I completed season 9 fully, and never got the achievement, when I posted on the forums, this was the reply I got..

The Seal the Deal Achievement/Trophy will only unlock if a player owns Forsaken and one of the following Forsaken seals is earned:
Dredgen
Unbroken
Cursebreaker
Rivensbane

Since the achievement was written for Forsaken, it would only let you get it on the base seals. Seasonal seals do not apply for the achievement.

Didn't want others to go and waste their time like I did.

I greatly appreciate this post. I had taken a long break and was considering attempting one of the newer, "less involved" / less task Triumphs, I figured I would check if there were newer solutions. So I REALLY appreciate this heads up. Back to slowly doing wayfarer.

This is exactly why I posted it. I can't begin to say how disappointed I was. Same, I'm slowly grinding out that one as well.

Wayfarer and Chronicler are both scheduled to become "Legacy" titles on Nov. 10th. Wayfarer is very doable between now (Sept. 4) and then, but make sure you're taking care of the time-gated pieces pretty soon. Chronicler is likely impossible if you haven't already made serious progress on Truth to Power lore.

Gambit weapons are still freely available. I've been playing for 3 weeks and got the gambit weapon award thing yesterday. Night Watch, Gnawing Hunger and Bad Omens.

I've been trying to get the gambit weapons to drop for weeks now. So far I've received about 50,000 grenade launchers and only 1 Bad Omens.

^^ how did you get the reward, Night Watch and Gnawing Hunger are not Gambit weapons?

By on 31 Jan 2021 00:33
Lorne, they are gambit prime weapons apparently. So they still count. I was able to get that portion of the seal with those weapons. The kill 10 people in their super is damn near impossible now

Night Watch was a Reckoning weapon originally and shouldn't count towards this as it specifically requires the items included in the Playing For Keeps badge.

Just an FYI for those still unsure. In the collections badges there's two badges related to gambit. Weapons from either of those collections count

Unbroken and dredgen works. (Crucible or gambit)

I can't confirm yet if splintered or deadeye works. There has been an update to the collector badges atleast. Where you have more to choose from.

@ Smiththedude i answered above.
you have 4 seals that we know works:
rivensbane, cursebreaker, unbroken, dredgen

there has been alot of updates in the game, it could be that more seals works now, but it could also be time wasted. I would reccomend sticking to one of the 4 mentioned.

So I’m looking to come back to this game after some time away and I seem to have forgotten everything. I’m only missing three achievements and I’d like to get this done at some point. I can’t seem to find these 4 available seals anywhere in the Triumphs tab. I’m probably missing something obvious, but if someone could point out where I can view these or what I need to do to make them appear, I’d appreciate it thank you :)

At the very bottom of the triumph page are the seals. (Looks like gold shields), a few of them might work, but only 4 of them are confirmed to work for the achievement.

If you click on one of the seals you can see a the required tasks for it to unlock. Most of the seals will take a few weeks to complete.

Just because it confused me I'd like to say:
Dredgen = Gambit Seal
Unbroken = Crucible Seal
Cursebreaker = The Dreaming City Seal
Rivensbane = Last Wish Seal

I'm wondering if there's a workaround for europa seal objective for doing a master lost sector without a fireteam? I can't even get through a legend one with a partner at the recommended level. If i can manage to get to master recommended level i doubt I'd pass the easy one.

Can anyone confirm Beyond Light (Splintered) does not work? Was going to ask Eclipse GX above but Destiny 2 isn't even on his TA card. Maybe it's updated for Xbox users to unlock. I got Europan Collector, though it's not Forsaken.

By StillFreeLife on 23 Dec 2021 22:26
@StillFreeLife can confirm that the Splintered title will not net you the achievement. Splintered is a Year 4 title, the achievement will only unlock for obtaining a Year 2 title (Cursebreaker, Dredgen, Unbroken, Rivensbane).

I'm honestly unsure, it's been a few years and with all the changes I wouldn't be surprised if they did alter things a little. My opinion is that I'd imagine it would need the Forsaken icon, to show it's a valid seal.

It won't count as it's not a Forsaken seal.

All I can go by, is someone posted a few up to say it unlocked from that seal for them. But can't confirm it myself, so if your reading conflicting statements, then it comes down to if you want to try it and see if it unlocks for you, or play it safe and go for one listed. I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm home from work, and see if I can find any information on it to update you.

The only way Glorious should potentially count would be if Bungie had just renamed the Unbroken seal but that's isn't the case. There's no reason from them to specifically add Glorious to the list and not add any of the other newer seals whilst they were at it.

If anybody is actually getting this to unlock through earning. glorious then it's straight up just a bug.

Can confirm Glorious unlocked this for me.
I did NOT play myself to platinum or did NOT get division promotion. I took all the other 7 and now that it is Iron Banner week it added "undefeated" and "powerlifter" triumphs to glorius triumph. You get those 2 by playing Iron Banner. (Atleast me) Or different Crucible modes. Use correct subclass.
I equipped Glorious at tower and AFKed for like 5minutes. Then choose destination to Dreaming City. While flying there, achievement popped.
0
0
By Temppuli on 28 Apr 2023 16:29
Well, at Temp's suggestion I tried to unlock Glorious again and I think the achievement has just glitched on me. I completed Undefeated and Powerlifter again (I used these to unlock the seal the first time back on April 3rd) and this got me to 9/9 and the seal showed properly unlocked. I equipped it, traveled to various locations, logged out and in, switched characters, completely closed the app and loaded back up... nothing.

Hoping it's delayed and it will work randomly as it does for Acute above, but as this is the second time I've unlocked it now, I think mine is just broken - at least for Glorious. Will report back if it decides to pop.

My final suggestion to you is hard reset your xbox. Sometimes that fixes some achievements.

By Temppuli on 29 Apr 2023 13:49
Oh my God, you said something that just triggered a thought - you mentioned you didn't know if you needed to own Forsaken or not, and I remembered when Lightfall came out, there was a problem logging into the game if you had any Forsaken content installed so I had removed it... lo and behold, as soon as I reinstalled Forsaken and logged in the achievement popped. I know it was inadvertent but thank you so much!!

So yeah, Glorious 100% works - and yes, Forsaken needs to be installed to unlock the achievement. :)

Took me a long time to figure out the titles interface and actually see the names other people are talking about.

I found Glorious (first page, bottom right, called "Crucible") and Cursebreaker (third page, second from right, called "The Dreaming City"), but where is Dredgen?
0
0
By zeldafanjtl on 09 Sep 2023 03:29
@zeldafanjtl Seal and Title used to be distinct terms with Seal being the collection of triumphs and Title being the displayable flair and these don't always match which is why you're seeing different names. Bungie have since dropped the term Seal in favour of just using Title but the displayable titles are still the more commonly used names as those are what people actually see.

Glorious is in the position you list for me but Cursebreaker isn't so that's not really a reliable way to identify it. Dredgen has the twin snakes icon used in the Director for Gambit - for me it's second page, bottom right.

Honestly I'd have to say that Dredgen is probably still one of the easiest options, plus it has the benefit of being available all the time and has no timegating.

The destination/expansion seals, the season seals and the annual event seals are all usually pretty easy bug all have varying degrees of timegating. If you don't mind PvP the Iron Banner one is mostly just a matter of playing the mode and for anybody comfortable with GM's Conqueror has very simple requirements.

I almost think this achievement is unachievable now... Wayfarer and Chronicler are no longer there. Unbroken requires you be really good at Crucible and complete max ranks in a super competitive mode across multiple seasons. Cursebreaker has either bugged elements, or elements that have just plain been removed from the game. And Rivensbane requires all raid completions.. The achievement itself says "Complete a Triumph Seal" which is a bit misleading since there are more added and you can't do the old ones.

To everyone working on Dreaming city collection / Cursebreaker seal..
The corrupted will be a nightfall in season 15..
Im a bit unsure on the rotation, it could be next week..

The corrupted has a chance to drop a weapon you need to unlock the collection... and you need the collection for the triumph seal

Pertaining to Cursebreaker, I unlocked Horror’s Least but not from The Corrupted Nightfall. It doesn’t have the Forsaken icon or sunset, I believe it’s a Season of Plunder version. Does this version now drop instead of the other? I got it from last week’s Nightfall and it seems to be dropping for this weeks as well for Exodus Crash.

Sandman Prime, and ALL fellow guardians, Glorious DID unlock for me. It didnt pop, i reset game, equipped it, and nothing popped. i came back about 24 hours later, still no pop. However another 6 hours later (30~ hours total) it unlocked, while my xbox was turned off. It doesnt matter which 9 triumphs you do, as i had done only the easiest ones, and my friend had done 2 harder ones, give it 1-2 days for the pop

I unlocked Glorious about 40 hours ago and it has yet to unlock the Seal the Deal achievement. Logged in and out many times, equipped and unequipped it, restarted my console, etc. No luck. Not sure if others got lucky or they fixed it recently, or I’m still just delayed. I’ll report back if it ever unlocks, but I’m not hopeful at this point…

Update April 21, 2023: So it seems there was a bug with Glorious that was awarding progress toward the seal for triumphs that were only meant for the "gilding" process. Despite technically unlocking it on April 3rd, I logged in today and I'm back to 7/9 progress and all the other ones I unlocked are gone. Not sure I have the heart to try and grind to Platinum division but that plus one more rank reset would get me to 9/9 and I could test if the proper unlocking of the title would get the achievement.

Another possibility if you're able to could be to try launching the game on another platform though I'm not sure whether or not you'd also need to own Forsaken on that platform.

I started playing the game on Steam when Shadowkeep released and unlocked all of the achievements there and whilst you do need to own the DLC to get the initial unlock you don't need to own it to get the unlocks on other platforms as all of the DLC achievements unlocked for me as soon as I launched the Xbox version even before purchasing any DLC. It could be that if the game thinks you've met the requirements that it may force the trigger on another platform at which point once you have unlocked on another platform it should autopop once you next start up the game on Xbox.

I wouldn't buy the DLC just on the off chance it works but if you have access to either a Playstation or a PC that can run the game then there' no harm in trying. For PC you'll need to use either the Steam or the Epic version as the achievements never worked in the Windows Store version (or at least they didn't in the past). I'd personally go with Steam other Epic as I know the achievements work there and though Epic does support achievements for the game I have no idea if or how they may sync across to other platforms.

Is there a prerequisite for Dredgen to appear in titles at all? I swear I've hovered over every single active title, and I don't see the name Dredgen, any mention of Gambit, or the twin snake icon used for Gambit.

For what it's worth, there are 30 active titles in my interface (12 each on the first two pages, and 6 on the third).

EDIT: Turns out yes, there is a prerequisite. Thanks to this Reddit thread for helping me figure it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/lpa8y5/new_...

Basically, if you don't have the Gambit/Dredgen seal yet, you have to go to Triumphs > Lifetime > Competitive > Gambit. For me, all the triumphs were secret, except for one for completing a single Gambit match. I played a match, claimed the triumph, and then the rest were revealed and the title appeared in my Titles screen.

I had played Gambit before, but I guess not recently enough to count for this. Interestingly, the rest of my Gambit triumphs do seem to have some progress from prior play.

A Guide to all six Seals that came with Forsaken.

This achievement can only be earned from obtaining one of these Seals: Cursebreaker, Dredgen, Rivensbane, Unbroken, Chronicler, or Wayfarer.
If the name of the seal that you are earning/have earned is not one of the six listed above, the achievement will not unlock. This is because this achievement is tied to the first expansion of the game, Forsaken (released in Year 2), and so is coded to unlock only for seals that were released when Forsaken came out.
Please note that Chronicler, Wayfarer and Unbroken are no longer obtainable.

The guides I've written out below for each seal are written based off of personal experience earning each of these triumphs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments below.

Cursebreaker and Dredgen are the easier titles to get for this achievement as opposed to Rivensbane, so I'd go after those. Given the changes to Gambit during this year (see here: https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/51091), I'd venture to say that Dredgen is harder to complete now than it used to be, which makes Cursebreaker probably the better option. You also get to learn a lot about the Dreaming City, which holds a lot of interesting lore.

EDIT 3/11/2022: With the release of Lightfall to kick of Year 6 and the start of Season 20 (Season of Defiance), there are no changes to any of the seals here within the solution. There have been a few reports last season that the achievement unlocked for some that had acquired the Glorious title, but it seems this is a bug and does not work for everyone. If you're looking to get this achievement, I would suggest trying to acquire one of the seals that is guaranteed to unlock it.

See here (This Week At Bungie (TWAB, https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/51229)) for details on the retirement of the Unbroken seal.

Hello everyone, and welcome to this guide on how to earn the achievement Seal the Deal. There are plenty of other guides here that are pretty good in detailing what needs to be done for certain seals. My intention with this particular guide is to discuss each individual seal that you could earn in order to get the achievement, while taking into account changes from both Year 3, which saw the release of Shadowkeep, and particularly Year 4 of Destiny, which saw the release of Beyond Light. First off though, I want to make a few disclaimers.

***Please read these disclaimers prior to the guide! I have bolded the most important points. Specifically pay attention to points 3, 4 and 5. (Under a spoiler tag because there's so much scrolling otherwise. Sorry!)***

Please note! That once you've completed all the triumphs for whichever title you chose to earn, that the achievement will not pop until you have claimed the title in game. To do that, simply head over to the Triumphs tab in your in-game menu, select the title you've completed, and then click on the title name located below the title emblem (in the bottom left of the screen) in order to claim the title, and then click it again to equip the title. If the achievement still doesn't pop after that, logging out of the game completely and then logging back in should do it.

That all being said, let’s dive into it! As the Chronicler, Wayfarer and Unbroken seals have been retired from the game, they will be listed last. However, I'm still including them here regardless. Otherwise, we’ll just head through these alphabetically.

Thanks for stopping by this extensively long, detailed guide. Getting through it feels like Frodo getting rid of the One Ring – https://ibb.co/4PnnxPS

But seriously, I hope this guide was useful in helping you get through one of these seals, whether you were using my text walkthrough or the sources I have linked above.
I’ve put a lot of time into making this guide, so I’d appreciate it if you could do me a favor now and leave an upvote or a comment down below to let me know what was or wasn’t helpful, or if there was anything that was confusing and could be rephrased.
If you’re going to downvote the guide, then before you do please let me know in the comments why. Chances are pretty good that it’s something I can help you with. If you don’t let me know, then I can’t make the necessary changes to help out some future player(s) who may encounter the same problem(s) you did.

For those going for cursebreaker (apt title as I feel this game is a curse). Be sure to carry the relic sword to the end of keep of honed edges. I think that’s where it didn’t count toward the secret victories award. Now to wait a lovely 5 weeks until it rotates back in. I can’t wait to be done with this and uninstall forever gods help me

Yeah that sounds about right. I remember the Ascendant challenges being a little finicky, sometimes taking 2 or 3 completions before the game would actually count it. Always make sure to leave through the end portal once you're done, don't just head to orbit after opening the chest.

For Cursebreaker can the Sparrow only drop from the weekly story and/or turning in the bounty (so 2x drop chances per 3 toons per week)? Or can it drop from the "War for the Dreaming City" weekly Quest from Petra for doing 8 daily bounties?

Thank you for your guide overall and your answer to my question above. The Sparrow ended up dropping for me around the 4th of 6th week of doing the story missions so by the end all I had left was to do the weekly ascendant Challenges and get the eggs and bone in each of those to get the Cursebreaker seal. After getting this done I'll leave a few suggestions based on my experience. Feel free to integrate them or not but from reading some of the Witch Queen threads many people, including myself before reading this entire guide, are still a bit overwhelmed on this achievement.

1. Cursebreaker is the Seal you want to do at this point. You can do almost all of it solo outside of one raid egg and the Shattered Throne runs which is actually an achievement now and you need to do this to get the Wish Ender Bow and other collectibles although you can solo the first part and hunt down many of the collectibles/eggs later once you have the bow. The RNG has been tweaked for much higher drop rates for the sparrow, ghost, and ship which I mention below. 2 of the seals are unobtainable (Chronicler & Wayfarer), Unbroken requires a ton of PVP over multiple seasons, Rivensbane requires a number of Raid completions including a flawless for content that is just not run consistently now and will probably be vaulted in early 2023. I worked on Dredgen before coming back to this guide and deciding to do Cursebreaker and from my experience a couple of the requirements just are too random. The 75 motes banked requires a good team and unless you are in a clan that plays Gambit you will be hard pressed to get this one done. The 10 Super kills is just too random as well in my opinion. I had reset my rank this past season and still only had 2 or 3 of those.

Another reason you want to do this Seal is because it will get you the Destinations: Dreaming City Badge which will unlock the "Fashion Statement" achievement at the same time.

I also think you can get this done totally free at this point since Forsaken was vaulted. Correct me if I'm wrong on that one. Just the base game should be required.

2. You can buy the Tinctures from Petra all the time for 50 Bayron Boughs so I would just remove the video and writeup you included about the secret vendor.

3. Ghost shell – Starlight shell. This drops from the weekly Ascendant challenge. You can run it on each character weekly so 3 drop chances per week. The drop rates were increased to 20% chance per run and you have to do 6 of these over 6 week span so RNG is on your side now.

Sparrow – Silver Tercel. This drops from the weekly story mission from Petra. You can run it on each character per week so 3 drop chances weekly. The drop rates were increased to 20% chance per run so RNG is on your side now.

Ship – Pallas Galliot. This drops from the Shattered Throne Dungeon. There are 3 loot drop points per run and you can run it on all 3 characters weekly so 9 drop chances per week. The drop rates were increased to 20% chance per loot drop. The drop points are the Final Architect before dropping down from the first part, the Ogre Boss, and the Final Witch Boss after ascending to the top.

The drop rates for these 3 items are very high from these location and while you mention they could drop from anywhere those rates seem abysmally low. Reportedly less than a 1% chance so in the essence of time and efficiency I would highly recommend just running these activities weekly since this takes a full 6 weeks anyways.

Thanks again for the guide!

Thanks! I'll add in the increased drop-rate to the guide. I knew it was increased, just wasn't sure by how much. When I was working on Cursebreaker, the drop-rate was abysmal. And I 100% agree that Cursebreaker is the easiest to obtain for the average player. Some of the Gambit stuff is based purely on being in the right place at the right time, Unbroken takes a lot of PvP skill, and Rivensbane takes a good raid team, especially since you need a flawless completion.

For those newbies to the game that are overwhelmed by this achievement, feel free to send them here. I feel I've gotten this guide to the point that everything is clearly and concisely explained.

I don't own any of the legacy content as I started the game around the time all the DLC was on Game Pass. I recently came back to the game to start working on Cursebreaker, but it looks like it requires the Forsaken Pack to start the Shattered Throne dungeon, weekly story missions (Broken Courier, The Oracle Engine, and Dark Monastery), and I think the Ascendant Challenges. I'm debating whether or not to fork over money for vaulted content. There's always Dredgen, but the requirements are a bit too random.

I'm not sure how much of a chance there is from getting the sparrow from completing the "War for the Dreaming City" weekly quest, but it certainly wouldn't hurt because there is still a chance to get the sparrow from that for sure. Really from completing any activity and/or bounty. However, to my knowledge you'll have a much higher chance getting the sparrow from the story mission and its associated weekly quest bounty, which this week looks to be "The Oracle Engine." That being said, the drop rate is still horrible. It took me weeks to get the sparrow, and even longer for the ghost shell. Personally when I was working on Cursebreaker, I did every weekly quest and weekly bounty on each character every week until I got the sparrow and ghost shell. Hope this helps!

I was looking at Gamepass for PC and it looks like Forsaken, Shadowfall and Beyond Light are all included for Free. Might be worth a try to play it on pc although I'm not sure how xbox achievements work there. The game does have cross save so I wonder if you unlocked the seal on PC and then played in on xbox would it unlock the achievement?

Personally I wouldn't waste time with Dredgen knowing what I know now about how straightforward Cursebreaker was. I did end up only 7 super kills and the 75 mote run away from the title so I'm sure if I just kept grinding I'd get those 7 I needed eventually. The 75 motes though you have to get a team and with the new season they split the matchmaking pool so fireteams will match with other fireteams and solo players can q with only other solo players. So being able to take advantage of a team with a bunch of randoms probably isn't an option now.

The above guides are good for the respective seals, but I haven't seen one that focuses on the Dredgen seal yet. This one involves quite a bit of Gambit, Destiny 2's new gamemode.

Down below are the main actions you need to perform to obtain this Triumph Seal.

1. Complete the Gambit Collections Badge (only has to be for one class).

This includes most items obtained through the mode, those being:

All Gambit weapons and armour are available as random drops from Gambit bounties.

Bygones - Pulse Rifle - Random drop OR vendor roll available from the Drifter after hitting the rank of Mythic I
Hazard of the Cast - Auto Rifle - Random drop
Pillager - SMG - Random drop
Parcel of Stardust - Shotgun - Random drop
Dreaded Venture - Sniper Rifle - Random drop
Trust - Hand Cannon - Random drop OR the Mysterious Package you get for resetting your Gambit rank once
Distant Relation - Scout Rifle - Random drop
Bad Omens - Rocket Launcher - Random drop OR the Enigmatic Package you get for resetting your Gambit rank twice
Malfeasance - Exotic Hand Cannon - Complete the Exotic Quest obtained through killing the Ascendant Primeval Servitor (the boss that looks like the final Forsaken campaign one). The full quest is explained under triumph 11: Aim to Misbehave.
Ancient Apocalypse Head Armour - Random drop
Ancient Apocalypse Arms Armour - Random drop
Ancient Apocalypse Chest Armour - Random drop
Ancient Apocalypse Leg Armour - Random drop
Ancient Apocalypse Class Item - Random drop OR vendor roll available from the Drifter after hitting the rank of Heroic I
Playin' the Odds Emblem - Speak to the Drifter
Gambit Chrome Shader - Dismantle a weapon with the shader on it, easiest is the Trust from the Mysterious Package
Furtive Ghost Shell - Reset your Gambit rank three times (this can be done over multiple seasons), then buy it from the Drifter
Antediluvian Sparrow - Random drop from the Ascendant Primeval Servitor after obtaining the Malfeasance quest
Drift Apart Ship - Random drop from the Ascendant Primeval Servitor after obtaining both the Malfeasance quest and the Antediluvian sparrow

2. High-Value Hawk Triumph - Kill a High-Value Target of every species.
Whenever the Drifter announces that there's a high-value target on the field, find it and kill it. The triumph requires you to kill one of each species (Fallen, Vex, Hive, Cabal and Scorn).

3. Light Versus Light - Defeat an invader while their Super is active ten times.
Best thing to use is the Sleeper Simulant since it deals a lot of damage to invaders in their super, often outright killing them.
Edit: This triumph has changed to also count kills from invaders on enemies with their Super active.

4. Gambit for All Seasons - Win a Gambit match against every species.
Play Gambit and this will come naturally.

5. Dark Age Arsenal - Win a Gambit match wit a Gambit weapon equipped in every slot.
Self-explanatory. You need the Bad Omens rocket launcher, either the Trust hand cannon or the Distant Relation scout rifle and one of the following: Bygones, Pillager, Hazard of the Cast, Dreaded Venture or Parcel of Stardust.
EDIT: Gambit Prime weapons (Night Watch, Spare Rations, Gnawing Hunger, Last Man Standing, Doomsday) also count.

6. Prestige - Reset your Infamy rank once.
Reach 15000 Infamy and then hold cn_X over the Gambit icon until the bar is full.

7. Army of One - Kill four enemy Guardians in a single invasion three times.
Best would be a weapon with range like a Linear Fusion Rifle or a Sniper Rifle. Thunderlord is also very good for this since it has a lot of ammo per brick. Other strong weapons for this are Truth and Xenophage.

8. Half-Banked - Deposit 38 or more Motes in a single round five times.
Collect motes and bank them in increments of 5 or 10 to avoid losing them to invaders or NPC enemies.

9. Thrillmonger - Defeat forty enemies in a match without dying three times.
Instead of focusing on collecting motes, focus on clearing NPC's and hide from invaders when necessary.
Edit: blocker types have changed with Phalanxes being replaced by Goblins.

10. Protect the Runner - Win a game where someone on your fireteam deposited 75 motes without losing any.
This is a tricky one due to the requirements, but the best thing to do is to play in a full fireteam and have one designated mote collector who will also hide from invaders. He can die when he is holding no motes.
EDIT: Someone in the comments pointed out that 75 motes is enough.

11. Aim to Misbehave - Acquire Malfeasance.
This is quite a long quest which requires you to kill the Ascendant Primeval Servitor once to start.

Step 1: The Seething Heart - Speak to the Drifter.
Step 2: City of Secrets - Kill 25 Taken bosses or minibosses in the Dreaming City. Best option would be to repeatedly do the Corrupted strike.
Step 3: The Corrupted - Complete the 580 power level mission variant of the Corrupted Strike. There is no matchmaking for this and it's quite tough, so make a fireteam before starting this mission.
Step 4: Depleted Weapon Core - Deliver the item obtained in the previous mission to the Drifter.
Step 5: Business as Usual - Bank 400 motes. Every mote you lose subtracts two motes from your total. Win 10 Gambit matches.
Step 6: Lights Out - Kill 25 Guardians and either obtain one Army of One medal or have a team member obtain three Army of One medals.
Step 7: Dark Weapon Core - Speak to the Drifter to obtain Malfeasance.

Let me know if there's things you want added and good luck slaying those Primevals!

Major edit: With Season of Arrivals, the Collections Badge is no longer needed for the triumph seal.

You might want to add that the Ship and Sparrow are no longer guaranteed drops when you beat the Meatball boss. Bungie, being the spiteful cunts they are, decided that if they are gonna make the Meatball boss appear more frequently, then you should not be rewarded with either of those vanity items unless you get lucky with RNG.

10. Protect the Runner - Win a game where someone on your fireteam deposited 100 motes without losing any. This was reduced to 75! I got it without knowing. This triumph is by far the easiest in my opinion.

^ unbelievable! I got that by complete luck with a random who totally beasted and deposited 107. It took me like 100 hours of Gambit to get it. Had it been 75 from the jump, I'd have had it way earlier.

They're removing the collections badge requirement from this seal next week. This should become the easiest one now as you no longer need 3 resets for the shell.

As mentioned protect the runner is only 75 motes, also for the weapons you can use night watch, gnawing hunger, bad omens. Since getting any other line up could be quite the grind.

Bad Omens can be purchased from Drifter if you haven't yet gotten it as a drop yet, though I believe you need to reset your infamy rank a couple times within a single season. If you haven't noticed, though, the badge is not required for the seal anymore. That was changed at the beginning of Year 3.

I can confirm this seal will still unlock the triumph as of January 2021. The weapons I used for Dark Age Arsenal were Night Watch, Gnawing Hunger, and Bad Omens. In case you were wondering, Thrillmonger doesn’t require no deaths for the whole game, only until you’ve got a 40 kill streak (the medal will pop as soon as you’ve killed 40 without dying) so just focus on clearing adds and let your teammates handle the motes.

I finished thus after about 75 hours pf gambit starting from scratch. Assuming 3 matches per hour on average, that is 225 matches. And I did at least half of my matches with randoms (bad idea), only joining fire teams about midway through my 2nd rank reset. If you play on good fireteams from the start (using LFG) it would come much faster. I went all the way from my 2nd to my 3rd reset in just a few days running with full 4man squads, going on extended win streaks. If you have a solid team with a good melt strat and a good dedicated invader the infamy flies by. The ONLY hard item is Army of One. But I have 20 of those already after 3 rank resets and I am not even usually the dedicated invader. In fact I rarely invade. Just run a good scout rifle, a good shotun in case you have to rush hiders, and a sleeper simulant/queenbreaker/hammerhead/thunderlord in your heavy slot. Any of those will do. Or just run nova warp warlock or a golden gun 6shot hunter.

As for light vs light, I suggest either a nova bomb warlock with the top tree or a chaos reach warlock. Save your super. Inspect the other team before the match starts and look for anyone that uses a roaming super like titan with hammers, stormtrance warlock, or arc hunter (cant remember name, blade dancer or something?). If you see that name invade about midway through the 1st round or later, try to hold onto a few motes and hide to bait them into rushing you. Watch the screen above your ammo and as soon as you see them activate their super pop out and use your super to take them out. I have 18 light v light after 3 rank resets without even trying. You can also get a good squad and get your primeval out first, and with a big enough lead over the other team, simply sit on your primeval and let the primeval slayer stacks build while you "let" opponents invade. Often the further ahead your team is the more they will try to go sweaty mode and use their super when rushing your team if you hide in the spawn to try and wipe you. Those moments are where at least half my light vs light counts occured.

I even got lucky once and got credited for one against a blade barrage hunter (one shot super nearly impossible to get light v light on) because I shot him, then he killing himself while killing me because he was too close to a wall when he hit BB. Since I damaged him I got credited for the kill AND the light v light as my corpse fell to the ground.

This is quicker than Wayfarer, for sure - I started Wayfarer and last week realized I was verging on finishing this without trying. I'm still over a week away from Wayfarer, waiting on the last requirement, but I'm done with this.

As of now, Light vs. Light requires you using your super, but can be done while invading or facing an invader. (Sleeper Simulant, recommended above, will not count.) Your best chance to get this will be in a tiebreaker game when supers are charging quickly. Invade immediately and you may find a group of guardians going after their primeval, with at least one active.

Also, as noted, it's only 75 motes now for Protect the Runner.

For Thrillmonger (kill 40 without dying), keep in mind that the count carries over between rounds, so if you have a meaningful streak going be cautious during the primeval. I got my last Thrillmonger medal on my second or third kill of the second round of a match.

Finally, I very much disagree you should bank in 5 or 10 to get half-banked medals. Bank whenever you're going by the bank, unless you're close to empty. Keep in mind the invaders come predictably, so watch their score and try to bank what you've got before they show up. Playing with a partner is good because they can clear adds but not pick up the motes and, more importantly, clear the bank of blockers for you. And they can watch for invaders as well.

EDIT: The biggest RNG heavy items Shell, Sparrow, and Ship have been increased from 2/5% drop chances to 20% drop chance across the board in a recent update. This makes obtaining this seal much easier now.

There are many ways you can approach this achievement and it will vary player by player depending on skill and game type preference (PvP / PvE).

You can unlock this achievement by completing one of the below Triumph Seals;

Raids
Dreaming City
Lore
Crucible
Gambit
Destinations

My guide will be for the Dreaming City Triumph Seal as I believe this requires the least amount of RNG, specific grinding, and activities. It also does not require any previous DLC activity like Destinations and Lore. Or insane requirements like Raids, Gambit, or Crucible.

The only RNG items you'll have to likely farm for are the Pulse Rifle from the Corrupted Nightfall Strike, the Secret Victories emblem, as well as the ghost shell, sparrow, and ship.

EDIT: Unfortunately the drop chances for the 3 cosmetic items are abysmal and has left many either continuously grinding or heading for another seal. Proceed with your options.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Destinations: Dreaming City
Complete the associated badge on the Collections screen in order to claim this Triumph.

The collection badge require the following items:

Wish Ender Exotic Bow (obtained from the Exotic quest posted further below in the guide)

Blueshift Dreams (shader from random drops in the Dreaming City)

5 Reverie Dawn Armor Pieces for 1 class (random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Tigerspite (Auto Rifle)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Waking Vigil (Hand Cannon)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Vouchsafe (Scout Rifle)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Twilight Oath (Sniper Rifle)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Sleepless (Rocket Launcher)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Abide the Return (Sword)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Retold Tale (Shotgun)(random drops in the Dreaming City and activity rewards)

Horror's Least (Pulse Rifle)(random drop in the Corrupted Nightfall Strike when active)

Secret Victories (emblem from random drops in Dreaming City, usually Ascendant Chests and Blind Well completions)

Starlight Shell (ghost shell, now 20% drop chance from Ascendant challenges. 1 try per character per week)

Silver Tercel (sparrow, now 20% drop chance from Dreaming City weekly story mission. 1 try per character per week)

Pallas Galliot (ship, now 20% drop chance from The Shattered Throne Dungeon that appears every 3 weeks during the strongest curse week. 3 loot chances per run, per character for a max of 9 chances every 3 week period.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission-Minded

Complete missions "Broken Courier", "The Oracle Engine", and "Dark Monastery"

These are missions given by Petra in the Dreaming City free-roam zone. The missions are on a weekly rotation. 3 weeks to finish all 3. Weekly Destiny 2 reset is on Tuesday at 12PM CST.

You will need to pick the missions up from Petra like a bounty. It will then give access to the current week's mission on the free-roam map. Complete all 3 for the triumph.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next 3 Triumphs are for The Blind Well. The Blind Well is a Public Event zone within the Dreaming City in which up to 6 players in free roam (max 3 per fireteam) fight against waves of enemies and a boss encounter. These events require items in order to be started. You can purchase the Charges from Petra for Dark Fragments which are given in the Dreaming City for Public Events, Patrols, High Value Targets, Lost Sectors, and random chests.

Charge of Light - Tier I (One boss) - 5 Dark Fragments
Charge of Light - Tier II (Two bosses at once) - 13 Dark Fragments
Charge of Light - Tier III (Three bosses at once) - 20 Dark Fragments
Unstable Charge of Light (Weekly unique encounter boss) - 35 Dark Fragments

Light level for final boss is 560. Recommended to be as close as possible.

You can also obtain Charges as drops as well.

To face the current weeks unique encounter boss you must start and finish a Charge of Light - Tier III. After you finish it you will have a short amount of time to then use the Unstable Charge at the Well. You will then fight the unique encounter boss. After completion you will unlock the current week Triumph.

The Scorn Champion

Defeat Sikariis, Plague of the Well, at the Blind Well in the Dreaming City.

Complete a Tier III Charge during the first week rotation when the curse is at it's weakest in the Dreaming City. The enemies will be the Scorn during this week's boss. Use an Unstable Charge after the Tier III and defeat the encounter.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Hive Champion

Defeat Cragur, Plague of the Well, at the Blind Well in the Dreaming City.

Complete a Tier III Charge during the second week rotation when the curse is strong in the Dreaming City. The enemies will be the Hive during this week's boss. Use an Unstable Charge after the Tier III and defeat the encounter.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Taken Champion

Defeat Inomina, Plague of the Well, at the Blind Well in the Dreaming City.

Complete a Tier III Charge during the third week rotation when the curse is at it's strongest in the Dreaming City. The enemies will be the Taken during this week's boss. Use an Unstable Charge after the Tier III and defeat the encounter.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Into the Unknown

Visit the Queen's Court.

When the curse is at it's strongest in the Dreaming City you will need to present an Oracle Offering to the Oracle Engine. You can obtain the Oracle Offering by accepting the weekly bounty from Petra that rewards it for doing Blind Well events.

Charge of Light - Tier I rewards 10% completion
Charge of Light - Tier II rewards 20% completion
Charge of Light - Tier III rewards 30% completion
Unstable Charge of Light rewards an additional 20% completion

After you obtain the Offering, present it to the Oracle Engine and it will move a platform and open the Ascendant Realm to Mara Sov at the Queen's Court.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Never Again

Complete the dungeon "The Shattered Throne".

The Shattered Throne is a unique mission only available during the third week when the curse is at it's strongest in the Dreaming City. It is the first "dungeon" in Destiny 2 and is treated as a higher activity than missions, strikes, and adventures but lower than a Raid.

Light level for final boss is 590. Recommended to be as close as possible.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suit Up

Acquire a full set of Reverie Dawn armor in the Dreaming City.

You will need a Reverie Dawn armor piece for each armor slot. Head, Arms, Chest, Boots, and Class item. These items will drop from any activity that takes place in the Dreaming City. Blind Well, Public Events, chests, Ascendant challenges/chests, weekly bounties and Powerful Gear rewards within the area. Very quick Triumph to get.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gimme That Bow

Prove yourself worthy to Sjur Eido, the first Queen's Wrath.

You are able to begin this Exotic Quest within the Shattered Throne Dungeon during the third week when the curse is at it's strongest in the Dreaming City.

I'll provide a link to an already well-written guide on Reddit by user MattMan7496 as well as a video guide.

This guide is specifically written for individuals who loves to run the Last Wish raid and it is for the "Rivensbane" title for completing the Raids seal.

There are 16 triumphs that needs to be completed for this Seal.

Last Wish Collectibles
This triumph will probably take the longest and relies heavily on RNG. To get this triumph, you will need to get all the weapons, armor and equipment from the Last Wish raid.

6. Nations of Beast hand cannon
7. Chattering Bone pulse rifle
8. Transfiguration scout rifle
9. Age-Old Bond auto rifle
10. Tyranny of Heaven combat bow
11. The Supremacy sniper rifle
12. Techeun Force fusion rifle

Last Wish raid activities
The following triumphs are fairly easy to obtain as long as you play the Last Wish raid a couple of times.

Triumph #2 - Treasure Trove
Description: Loot hidden chests in the "Last Wish" raid 10 times.
Solution: Just open 10 hidden chests throughout the raid. There are a total of 2 hidden chests per run. One between Kalli (1st encounter) and Suro Chi (2nd encounter) and another between Suro Chi (2nd encounter) and Morgeth (3rd encounter).

Triumph #3 - Put a Flag on It
Description: Plant 5 "Last Wish" Raid Banners.
Solution: At the beginning of each encounter, there is a rally flag circle where you can put a raid banner. Just plant 5 of these and the triumph is completed. Note: To get raid banners, visit Petra at the Dreaming City and buy it from her.

Triumph #4 - Habitual Wisher
Description: Make 10 wishes in the "Last Wish" raid.
Solution: Just enter 10 different wished in the wish wall. To get to the wish wall and a list of all available wishes, please see the following website: https://idleanimation.com/last-wish-plates

Last Wish raid WEEKLY encounter Challenges
You must pick up the bounty from Hawthorne for any challenges to count towards your Triumph. Once you complete the challenge, redeem it so that it will count towards your Triumph. The bounties rotate on a weekly basis. Only one of the challenge bounties will show up per week.

Triumph #5 - Summoning Ritual
Description: Complete the Summoning Ritual challenge.
Solution: (1st Raid Encounter) You must summon and kill 3 ogres before you DPS the Kalli. To Summon an Ogre, you must step on a wrong plate (there are 3 total wrong plate throughout the map). The 3 Ogres needs to spawn and be killed for every DPS phase.

Triumph #6 - Coliseum Champion / Which Witch
Description: Complete the Coliseum Champion challenge.
Solution: (2nd Raid Encounter) Players need to make sure they don’t get hit by Suro-Chi's laser blast (called Eviscerating Hex). If anyone in the fireteam gets his by the laser, then the challenge is failed.

Triumph #7 - Forever Fight
Description: Complete the Forever Fight challenge.
Solution: (3rd Raid Encounter) There are a total of 4 ogres, 1 in the top left, 1 in the top right and 2 in the middle in front of Morgeth. You must defeat Morgeth without killing any of the ogres in the map to complete this challenge.

Triumph #8 - Keep Out
Description: Complete the Keep Out challenge.
Solution: (4th Raid Encounter) In the Vault Encounter, the Taken Knights must stay inside their zone. Keep a player inside each zone to let them kill the Taken Knights before they can reach the interior of the Vault.

Triumph #9 - Strength of Memory
Description: Complete the Strength of Memory challenge.
Solution: (5th Raid Encounter) When shooting Riven's eye, each guardian can only shoot each eye once. So every player must remember which eyes they have shot already and make sure they dont shoot the same eye again. Another way to beat this easily is use the cluster bomb strategy where no guardians will ever need to shoot Riven's eye.

Last Wish raid completions
This next set of triumphs challenges players to complete the Last Wish raid in many different ways. The description will tell you exactly how to beat the specific triumph.

Triumph #10 - O Murderer Mine
Description: Complete the "Last Wish" raid.
Solution: Beat the Last Wish raid. I have a solution written up on TA here:
Destiny 2Wishing for the BestThe Wishing for the Best achievement in Destiny 2 worth 93 pointsComplete the "Last Wish" Raid.

Triumph #11 - Clan Night: Last Wish
Description: Complete the "Last Wish" raid with a full fireteam of clanmates.

Triumph #12 - Sunburn
Description: Complete all raid encounters with a fireteam made entirely of Solar subclasses.

Triumph #13 - Night Owl
Description: Complete all raid encounters with a fireteam made entirely of Void subclasses.

Triumph #14 - Thunderstruck
Description: Complete all raid encounters with a fireteam made entirely of Arc subclasses.

Triumph #15 - The New Meta
Description: Complete all raid encounters with a fireteam made entirely of the same Guardian class.
Solution: Make sure everyone is using the same Guardian class. Meaning, everyone must either run all Warlocks, all Titans or all Hunters. Everyone has their preference on which would make the raid easier, so pick the guardian class which best suits your fireteam.

Triumph #16 - Petra's Run
Description: Complete the Petra's Run version of the "Last Wish" raid.
Solution: To get this triumph, you will need to enter "Wish 13" in the wish wall. Once Wish 13 is activated, your fireteam can now attempt Petra's Run.

Petra's Run is is probably the hardest of all the triumphs for this seal. If a single person in the fireteam dies, the entire raid fails and the entire fireteam is sent to orbit. This needs to be flawless run with no deaths from beginning to end. It may seem impossible, but several fireteams has completed this challenge. Below is a video of my fireteam completing Petra's Run.

Currently this achievement only works with the following Seals:Dredgen (from Gambit), Unbroken (from Crucible), Cursebreaker (from the Dreaming City) and Rivensbane (from the Last Wish raid).

By far the easiest of these is Cursebreaker, but it is tied to many time-gated events and takes many weekly resets to get everything, and also, you need to complete the Dreaming City collection tab, which as of Season of the Chosen is not possible because of a pulse rifle tied to The Corrupted nightfall, which is not on the nightfall rotation this season. Cursebreaker can be completed totally solo though, which might attract more players.

Dredgen is probably the second easiest, but it's tied to the most dreaded mode in the game, which is Gambit. By far the worst triumph from this seal is resetting your infamy rank, but the grind is much easier on double/triple Infamy gain weeks. The other hard part is invading and killing 4 guardians (the whole team or at least a repeated kill of someone who respawned) 3 times. That might take a lot of practice, luck and patience. I used Warlock with Chaos Reach and the Xenophage machine gun, but for some people the new Eyes of Tomorrow exotic might work. I rarely see other supers who are very effecting in killing multiple guardians during an invasion. Maybe Dawnblade or a Hunter with a Arc Staff or a Golden Gun and a great aim. Snipers are great for this as well, if you're good with them, considering the layout of Gambit maps. If you pull that off, you even knock a step of the Malfeasance exotic revolver quest. The last hard part is getting the Triumph Protect the Runner, which requires a single player deposit 75 motes (you need 100 to summon a primeval). I got that by accident in a random game, but if you're struggling, it's good to get a fireteam and get organized. I'm not sure, but it might work if you also lose motes from blockers and keep getting more and depositing, until you reach 75 deposited.

Unbroken is a title I'll probably never get, because of the competitive playlist (and me not enjoying Crucible at all), but if you enjoy the game mode the requirements aren't very hard. Mind that there's a time-gated triumph here as well, requiring you to reach max Valor and Glory ranks in 3 different seasons (that's almost one whole year)

Rivensbane is probably the hardest of all these titles, because on top of completing many different challenges in the Last Wish raid, you also have to complete it flawlessly (no deaths on the whole team), so good luck if you try that.

Previously other titles were present in the game and worked for this achievement, with Wayfarer being the easiest of all (despite a lot of timegated stuff) but with the Beyond Light expansion they were removed from the game.

P.S: When I unlocked Dredgen the achievement didn't immediately pop, if that happens to you just restart the game and log in again. When I did that, the achievement popped.

I'm adding this specifically for the Crucible triumph seal which awards the "Glorious" title. Before I start I want to stress you MUST have the Forsaken DLC installed to earn the achievement. You can unlock the seal without it, but if like myself you uninstalled Forsaken when Lightfall came out because of the login issues, make sure you reinstall it to be given your achievement.

Anyway, Glorious was added to the game in I believe November 2022, replacing the old "Unbroken" seal. The requirements for Glorious are as follows:

You need a total of nine unique triumphs to unlock the Glorious seal. When you check in-game, you'll see that there are only nine available, though this isn't actually true. There are a few hidden triumphs that also count toward the seal and once they unlock they will reveal themselves. Now, this may be a glitch as in April 2023 they reset the seal and removed the two hidden ones that I had previously unlocked (Powerlifter and Undefeated) which I think were supposed to be for the "Gilding" process, but I was able to earn them again right after the update to be awarded the seal a second time, so I will list everything as I did it and hopefully it stays this way.

Original 9:
  • Forever Valorous: Earn 10 Crucible ranks across all seasons. - This one is quite obvious, just play matches to earn ranks. Will come on your way to resetting your rank three times.
  • Prestigious: Reset your Crucible rank 3 times across all seasons. - Another one that simply comes with time. Play many, many matches and once you hit Rank 17, visit Shaxx in the Tower to reset your rank. Repeat two more times.
  • Gold Medalist: Acquire 3 medals in the Gold Tier category. - This one is pretty tough, as the gold medals are for things that don't happen often. However, multiple copies of the same medal stack, and I was able to get this with three "Annihilation" medals, for killing all three members of the enemy team in quick succession. You can find a full list of these in the Medals section of your character profile.
  • Placement Series Matches: Complete placement in the Competitive playlist. - Another easy one, just play 7 matches in Comp, win or lose.
  • Decathlete: Complete 10 matches of different gametypes. - Oddly, this one unlocked for me despite only playing Comp, which only has three game modes. Might be bugged, but if that doesn't work for you just explore all the different game mode. Don't need to win the matches, so it's just a time effort.
  • Division Debut: Complete matches in Competitive 3v3 playlist. You need 100 "points" for this one, and wins give more points. Once again, just a matter of time for this.
  • Get Those Reps: Earn 200 points by completing objectives in the Competitive 3v3 playlist. - Yet again, just a time sink here. Keep playing until you're done. If you're skilled, it'll come faster.
  • Division Promotion: Successfully complete a Promotion Series and move to a higher division. - Once you complete the placement matches, you'll likely be set in Silver or Gold. Each division has three ranks (Silver III, Silver II, Silver I for instance). Once you earn enough points when in the Rank I section, you'll now be in a "sudden death" type of event where you need to win two of the next three matches to be promoted.
  • Climbing the Ladder: Achievement Platinum Division in any season. - This is the most difficult one to complete as it requires some real skill. Go for one of the other options in the list, but know this is available.
Hidden 2:
  • Powerlifter: Earn 200 points by completing objectives in any Crucible playlist while using Strand, Void, or Solar. - This one is quite obvious, just equip one of those three subclasses and play matches. It will come with time.
  • Undefeated: Win 5 matches of different gametypes. - Pretty self-explanatory. There are three game types in ranked modes, so you'll need to play outside of those to get two more.
Complete any 9 of the available 11 triumphs to unlock the seal and the achievement. Almost all of them are simply a matter of time, with the Gold Tier medals, division promotion, and getting to Platinum being the only skill-based ones. I did not personally earn the Platinum division or the one for resetting my Crucible rank three times, but instead used the two hidden ones to get to nine and unlock the seal.

New Light update: Only the base Forsaken seals, Wayfarer, Dredgen, Unbroken, Chronicler, Cursebreaker, and Rivensbane will unlock this trophy.

Beyond Light update: As of November 10, 2020, Wayfarer and Chronicler will become unachievable.

Here comes the grind. This is the longest trophy to acquire in Destiny 2. Completing one of the seals available will also grant you a title for your character. I think that the easiest to complete is Destinations (at least it will be for me because of the amount of collecting that I do), but choose whichever one that you wish.

Destinations:
  • Destinations: Red War Collections Badge.
    • Gensym Knight Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Rank up packages from Asher Mir on Io.
    • Wildwood Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Rank up packages from Devrim Kay in the EDZ.
    • Lost Pacific Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Rank up packages from Sloane on Titan.
    • Exodus Down Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Rank up packages from Failsafe on Nessus.
  • Destinations: Curse of Osiris and Warmind Badge.
    • Mercury Forge weapons (Garden Progeny 1, The Conqueror 2, Jack Queen King 3, Machina Dei 4, Traveler's Judgment 5, Sol Pariah 6, West of Sunfall 7, Infinite Paths 8, Null Calamity 9, Future Safe 10) - Complete Osiris prophecies given by Brother Vance. Forge parts are found in strikes, heroic adventures, Crucible matches, patrols.
    • Perfect Paradox - Complete the Legends Lost quest. Triggered after completing all Forge weapons offered in one week.
    • Sagira's Shell - Acquire all Forge weapons.
    • Sleeper Node weapons (Niflheim Frost, 18 Kelvins, Frigid Jackal, BrayTech Winter Wolf) - Randomly acquired from Sleeper Nodes on Mars. Combine four Resonant Stems from patrols and public events into a key. Open the Sleeper Node to find a BrayTech Schematic. If you have trouble acquiring one weapon, begin the quest on a second character.
    • BrayTech RWP Mk. II - Acquired during the Nascent Dawn questline.
    • BrayTech Osprey - Acquired from the "Strange Terrain" Nightfall.
    • IKELOS weapons (Hand Cannon, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, Submachine gun) - The Hand Cannon is acquired after completing the two post-story missions of Warmind. The other three weapons are acquired as random drops from Escalation Protocol. The rotate on a weekly basis in the order: shotgun, sniper rifle, submachine gun, all three, all three). If you do not acquire one gun after completing Escalation, activate a tower shortly after to restart at wave 6. Your chances of earning the gun will increase with each completion without going to orbit.
    • Polaris Lance - Complete the Nascent Dawn questline.
    • Sleeper Simulant - Complete the Violent Intel questline.
    • Kairos Function Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Rank up packages from Brother Vance on Mercury.
    • BrayTech Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Rank up packages from Ana Bray on Mars.
    • Escalation Protocol Armor (Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest, Boots, Class Item) - Acquired from the chest at the end of wave 7 of Escalation Protocol. Seven Rasputin Key Fragments are needed to trade into Ana to create a key. Key fragments are acquired from heroic adventures on Mars (2) or Nightfalls (7). One armor piece per week can be acquired.
  • Destinations: Forsaken Badge.
    • Tangled Shore Weapons (Ether Doctor, Wrong Side of Right, Trackless Waste, Thin Line, Right Side of Wrong, Dust Rock Blues) - Complete wanted bounties for the Spider, public events on The Tangled Shore, or random drops from engrams.
    • Eye for an Eye - Acquired after killing all eight Barons.
    • Dreaming City Weapons (Tigerspite, Waking Vigil, Vouchsafe, Retold Tale, Twilight Oath, Sleepless, Abide the Return) - Complete Dreaming City bounties for Petra, complete Blind Well, small gifts, ascendant challenges, post-story missions.

Updated for Season 23

It appears that the requirements to unlock this achievement has been updated to allow any seal completion to work. I was able to earn the achievement with the Wishbearer seal and had a friend got it with the Star Baker seal over the Christmas holiday.

Currently, this trophy can only be obtained by completing the seals of the first year, these are “City of Dreams”, “Gambit”, “The Crucible” and “The Last Wish”. All other seals, including seasonal ones and for events, do not allow you to receive a trophy. Below is a general analysis of all the seals, from the point of view of the possibility of their quick completion.
  • You can immediately discard the “Last Wish” seal , it requires completing the “Last Wish” raid without dying in the “Petra’s Run” triumph, this is almost impossible for 100% of teams on consoles. Plus you need to complete all the tests, which can also cause difficulties.
  • The Dreaming City seal is probably the simplest seal for the trophy at the moment, although it does take quite a long time. Of the long and relatively difficult ones, here is only the triumph of “Corrupted Omelette / Corrupted Omelette” for the destruction of all 40 “eggs” in the “City of Dreams”. The problem with them is that they are scattered across various activities and some of them become available once every 6 weeks. It will take at least 6 weeks to destroy the eggs. Also, before you can start destroying them, you will need to complete the task for the bow, this task has been simplified so that this seal can be safely completed in 6 weeks. The main thing here is that the generator of random items named “Bungie” is favorable to you and quickly gives you a ship (drops only after completing a dungeon) and a ghost (drops more often from challenges) to complete the collection of the Dreaming City, otherwise in the latest updates the chance for them has been increased, so it's easier to get them.
  • Crucible Seal - If you're not a competitive god, don't even look here. Resetting several ranks of valor and glory is necessary to really play well and actively in PvP. If you still decide to go this route, follow the posts on the official blog periodically, while during the Iron Banner event, 2 weeks and 3 weekends of experience pass for these ranks. This can greatly speed up the process of obtaining the seal, otherwise there is no particular point in this, because this seal will take at least 3 seasons (the triumph of “A Glorious Legend”), which is about 9 months. The seal will be removed at the end of season 19, so if you start hitting it now, you won’t have time to close it.
  • The Gambit Seal is perhaps the easiest Seal in the game. The simplest, for players to quickly obtain, since it does not require add-ons. However, this printing will require a huge amount of time, but there is no “week” limit as in others. You can speed up the process by playing double experience/triple experience weeks in the “Gambit” mode, then it is quite possible to close the seal for a week, because increased experience is given not only for matches, but also for bounties.

The easiest way to open is "Putnik", you will have to run around, of course, but you don't really need to bother there, only with weapons on "Mars"

You need to reset rank 5 in a competitive game 3 times, one reset is 5500 points. In the world, only 8000 players have beaten Redrix's Broadsword, that's only 2100 points. The seal requires 16,500 points. There are no such people on this site. By the way, I have a PVP 6/10 on my seal. The developments of Season 3 are being taken into account. Therefore, there are not even those in the world who have reset their account 3 times.

The only choice in this category is Destinations. For a long time, of course, there is no understanding yet of how to get the emblem of the Forsaken, both Higher Ones passed for a while, the counter did not go. Apparently you need to take part in all 6 events, the trophy will be fought for at least 6 weeks. Weapons on Mars drop after opening boxes. According to the Osiris dlc, everything is clear, according to the Mars card, we buy consumables from the Spider and pour them into the planetary watchers, buy the necessary gear or loot them randomly from planetary engrams.

If you like pvp in this game, then it will be faster (but not easier) to open the crucible or gambit seal.

If anyone does the Gambit Seal, there are two secret triumphs, one of them is to complete the Intruder quest (it is also in the collection card), the second requires several conditions to be met:
1. Play with the required full team (I haven’t checked, but according to the description it’s like that)
2. One of the players must collect 100 particles and NOT lose any (you can die without particles)
3. You need to win the match

Other players may die with particles. The one who collects 100 must definitely be empty before calling the primeval, because the particles not entered will remain on him and he can lose them.

The collection card contains a sparrow and a ship, which can only be obtained by killing the meatball boss; they drop with a certain chance

The trophy is a little buggy, I got it about an hour after I received the seal.

Small additions to the “Destinations” Print .

The Destination: Curse of Osiris and Warmind collection cards require obtaining the Protocol Armor Set. Parts of this set are obtained from the chest that appears after defeating the boss of the final (7th) wave of the protocol. The difficulty is that the key to open this chest can only be obtained once a week. The key can be obtained from the Martian vendor in exchange for 7 Rasputin Key Fragments. The fragments themselves can be obtained in several ways and are not a problem.

Accordingly, if you just started playing Destiny 2 or, like me, missed the Warmind expansion, then you will need at least 5 weeks to receive this card.

By the way, there shouldn’t be any big problems with farming protocol weapons. The protocol drops a very good shotgun and it will not be difficult to find partners for farming the protocol.

If you are planning to make the Dreaming City seal, be aware that the "Above All" triumph (Complete all six supreme challenges) may be buggy, it is needed for the "Secret Victories" emblem in the Dreaming City card, and also on the Bungie forums people report that dice are buggy Ahamkaras, collectible items for the O Marauder triumph. How to get around this? No way. Will the developers do something about this? Well, the Ultimate Challenge bug has been known since 2018 and is still around, so be careful.
It seems the Dreaming City has been repaired, but still remain vigilant.
