How to unlock the Raiding Party achievement in Destiny - Definitive Guide
*Everyone playing must be in the clan at the time you kill Atheon/Crota*
After you have joined the clan, a button will appear that will allow you to set the clan as your xbox clan, everyone in your fireteam must do this for the achievement to pop.
NOTE: With many achievements in this game, it may not pop immediately, e.g; my achievement popped the day after I actually completed the raid
Update: As of January 24th 2020 this still works.
Update: As of September 7th this still works. Tomorrow September 8th a new update is coming out for The Taken King that may fix this makinh it so you have to play a raid to get it.
if its a glitch or not but me and my buddies got this just by playing through Prison of Elders on level 32. You may want to give it a shot
I wonder if Flawless Raider could be accomplished this way as well...?
At minimum, if you do the level 32 Prison with a full fireteam of 3 in the same clan, upon completion you should receive this achievement as well as
Edit: It seems like the level 41 version of PoE from the April update does not unlock the achievement.
Once you've got your clan straightened away, get together with a group of clanmates and run a raid. I can confirm that you don't have to complete the entire raid, just the final section. As long as your team contains only members from your clan, this trophy will unlock. It may be possible to do this with fewer than six players, but I haven't tested it. Don't do that to yourself, though, as they are designed to be very difficult even with six seasoned players.
As soon as the raid is finished, this trophy will unlock! While you have your group together, you may also want to knock off the "Strength of the Pack" trophy as well. It requires three fireteam members in the same clan finish a strike. Split into two teams and polish it off!
When Destiny 2 got released, a lot of Destiny clans got converted to groups, and is no longer suitable for getting the achievements. Like the groups in the other solutions, sadly.
Fear not though. I have made a new clan to help out those in need.
The clan is called "Time to Achieve" and can be found here:
https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2/Chat?groupId=3558574
The membership is open, so joining it shouldn't be a problem for anyone in your session.
Of course joining my clan is not mandatory, it's simply a helping hand to those who do not wish, or do not want to go through the trouble of creating their own.
Like some other achievements, like
This is not me saying I'll run people through a raid, it's meant as a helping hand to you and your session's participant to easily find a clan to join.
Players required: 3 or 6
First, you will need to assemble a clan. You can use the PS3 or PS4 partner threads to organize this. All players will need to go through Bungie.net, join the same group, and set that group to be their active PlayStation clan.
Once you have your clan together, the activity you do will vary depending on how many players you have. If you have a full fireteam of six players in the same clan, then Vault of Glass, Crota’s End, or King’s Fall are your options. Complete one of those.
If you only have three players, then you can complete one of the old Prison of Elders challenges, either Level 32, Level 34 (32 and 34 vary from week to week), or Level 35 (Skolas’ Revenge). Those three count as raids for Raiding Party and Raider.
To create or join a clan, you will need a bungie.net account - once signed up, you can start a clan or manage clan invites through here. Don't get confused because you can get a group invite before actually setting that group as your clan. Try to get a clan with at least six members so you can field a full fireteam. You only have to complete the raid on Normal for this specific achievement.
