WOLVES OF MARS:
1- after completing pre-requisite talk to petra and/or variks and she/they will send you to kill fallen on earth, moon, and venus. Its based on a percentage but it works out to approximately 300 in each place.
Earth- farm the Divide as its a small area and lots of spawns
Moon- stay in the starting area and just make a continuous loop starting with the spawn to your right as you go up the starting hill and then continuing to your right killing everiything until you make it back to the first spawn.
Venus- Ember Caves farming loop
2- to find the archon on mars head to the Rubicon Wastes then go to your left and you will see what looks like part of a ship sticking out of the dirt. Wait around this area and you will get a "the Wolves are prowling" message. Kill the subsequent waves of Wolves and on I believe wave 3 the Archon will spawn.
3- story mission on Mars "A New Den"
4- story mission on Mars "Knock Knock"
For the boss fight against the Fallen Walker you will not only be dealing with him but waves of Fallen and Cabal as well. Grab the interceptor thats to your left and then just strafe back and forth in that area attacking him and killing anything that gets close.
5- story mission on Mars "Prime's Path"
For the boss battle against the Prime on mars my best advice is Kill.The.Snipers.First. If not they will collectively take you out in short order as there are 5 of them at least. Then just keep on the run shootin the Prime when you can. You will get teleported but as long as you keep your distance and keep moving he's not too much of a problem.
I would strongly recommend being at least lv 40 *240 before starting the story missions related to this quest
For Part 2, for anyone having trouble, go to where you start the Cerberus Vae strike and head left as far as you can, you might not see anything but it should pop up that 'a pack of wolves is prowling'

you will have too hunt taken zealots while patroling earth, venus, and mars. i found it quickest to move across the planet until i found taken, rather then waiting in one spot. once you start killing taken be sure to search fr a major any time it says a luitenet is poisoning the air. once you kill enough, the zeqlot will apear, the fight is timed so be quick. a fireteam is strongly recomended.
proceed throuhh the questline doing this twice at each planet.
once you are done helping petra, variks will have a questline for you, first you must patrol rubicon wastes, where the cabal strike on mars starts. wolves will prowl. defea the archon and get the next step. the rest is is a simple series of missions. the final boss can teleport you to him thouhgh. so if you hear a mechanical sreech be prepared to run. turn in the completed quest for the trophy.
The, Pants, Party
When you start The Taken King, head to The Reef to speak with Petra so you can begin working on the questline "The Taken War: Petra" as you will come to many of these locations during the story. You are tasked with killing random spawns of Taken enemies on Earth, Venus, and Mars during patrols. Each of these will have a mini-boss to battle after killing three lieutenants. The first one your kill will drop an item required for the quest. They are very tough to kill (and have a ton of other enemies spawn at the same time), so you'll definitely need some help.
Once you complete all of the steps of the above quest, Variks will give you a new questline "The Wolves of Mars" and you will have to kill Fallen enemies on Earth, the Moon, and Venus during patrols, then a special enemy during a patrol on Mars. Then you will receive three proper missions on Mars before the quest will complete and unlock the achievement.

Prerequisites:
- Complete “The Taken King” questline.
- Complete “The Taken War: Petra” questline.
After completing the two quests above, speak to Variks to begin “The Wolves of Mars”. Your first step will be to kill Fallen on Earth, the Moon, and Venus.
Once that is done, you will need to kill an Archon Priest on Mars. The only place to find this in the Rubicon Wastes (where the Cerebus Vae strike begins). Starting in The Barrens, follow the right path to the Scablands. Then go through the open gates on the right to reach Firebase Rubicon. Follow the path through the Cabal to reach the Rubicon Wastes. You will need to wait around until you see a message appear that says "A Pack of Wolves is Prowling..." They will appear on the left side dropping next to an antenna. There will be a few waves of Fallen before the Archon arrives.
After completing “The Prime’s Path”, you will have to speak to Variks one more time to complete the quest.
