How to unlock the Supremacy achievement in Destiny - Definitive Guide
This achievement is earned through Crucible play and is directly tied the "Glory and the Taking of It" quest given by Lord Shaxx in the tower. The quest is available the first time you start Destiny after loading the expansion.
The quest requires playing the new Supremacy game type, which is a 6v6 mode where points are earned differently than in standard game types. When players are killed, they drop a crest– a large item that looks sort of like an engram. Points are earned for your team when enemies are killed AND their crests are collected by your team. The first team to 150 points wins.
Quest requirements:
Play 10 matches of Supremacy
Get credit for 50 kills
Collect 25 friendly crests (referred to as 'Crests Denied')
Once complete, return to Lord Shaxx, take your choice from three legendary special weapons as a reward and the achievement will pop.
You need 10 games played, get 50 kills and collect 25 friendly crests- these are the orbs left behind by team mates Dying.
The Glory and the Taking of It quest is a PVP task given by Lord Shaxx in the Tower. You will need to complete 10 matches of the new game mode Supremacy, as well as killing 50 other players, and denying 25 crests. A crest denial occurs when a teammate dies and you pick up the crest they drop rather than allowing the enemy to capture it.
This is a quest that is acquired from Shaxx upon beginning Rise of Iron. To complete the quest, you must do the following in Supremacy:
10 Matches Complete
50 Kill Credits
25 Crests Denied
Kill Credits are just getting kills, but to get the credit, you or a teammate must pick up the red crest. Denying crests are picking the blue crests that drop when one of your teammates is killed.
Return to Shaxx after you complete the main part of the quest to complete it and receive the trophy.
Unlike the other Crucible trophies, this one cannot be done in private matches. Since it is tied to a quest, you can only make progress in public matches.
