You'll probably be able to get this by simply doing all the story mission and whatnot, but we will know you want that achievement now right? Right. To get this in 5 minutes just get in the saucer and just death ray EVERYTHING! Buildings, cars, people. A good technique is to destroy a building and then blast all the pitiful humans fleeing for their insignificant lives as it crumbles to the ground (whoops got a bit carried away there...)

i unlocked the achievement but it doesn't show the gamerscore for the achievement and it somehow doesn't count it with the rest of the achievements i have unlocked

You can get this one a couple of ways. One, you can stay on the ground and use any of the weapons available and shoot the humans (which goes towards the weapon achievements) or you can get in your saucer and use the death ray or load them up for dna by hitting LT and A (A I think is right).
