DETECTIVE - The Motel

In room 9 on the second floor, we can unlock the safe in the shelves with the following combination: Star, Circle, Triangle, Square.

The safe puzzle takes place in Ivy Brown's room. There are four items to interact with to find each symbol which will also give a clue to the order by giving you a specific date.

When you enter the room there is a shelf on the left with a graduation gift. Interact with the item to find the diamond symbol and the date May 21, 2016. This will be the first symbol in the safe, as it is the earliest date to find.

To the left of the graduation gift on the dresser is a bottle you can interact with. This will give you the circle symbol and the day July 4th. This will be the second symbol as it is the next date in sequence.

Next, go to the bathroom to find a perfume bottle with a note on it. Interact with it to get the triangle symbol, but there is not a specific date on it, just a Happy Birthday wish. Return to the entrance of this room to the calendar and interact with it to see Ivy's birthday circled, September 18. This will be the third symbol on the safe as it is the next date in sequence.

Lastly, above and to the right of the bed is Ivy's first painting sale. Interact with it to get the square symbol and the date of October 2, 2016. This will be the fourth symbol and the safe will open once you complete the following sequence:

Diamond, Circle, Triangle, Square

This will yield the key which will allow you to unlock the pick up truck in the parking lot.
