How to unlock the Deus Ex Machina achievement in DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION - Definitive Guide

EDIT: Before getting on the elevator in the last level make sure you have done all of the secondary objectives (find Sarif and Taggert) - otherwise not all of the four switches will be available to you and this guide won't work.

After defeating Zhao Yun Ru and destroying the Hyron Project, but before entering the room behind Zhao:
1. save the game
2. enter the room and choose one of the FOUR switches (the 4th one is at the end of an alley to your left)
3. watch the movie (you can skip the credits)
4. select "Continue" from the main menu
5. rinse and repeat until you have watched all four endings
The achievement will pop up at the beginning of the last movie

Gave you a positive because some douche gave you a negative. I just started the game but I know your solution will work. Thanks for saving me some time.

For some odd reason the button on the left is not lit up and can't be pushed. Suggestions on how to get it?

If you didnt talk to sarif and taggert at the end before you went down the long elevator ride, this solution will not work. I screwed up and only have 2 of 4 options available

im with xWalkingDisease on this one. In order to get all 4 ending you must fine and talk to taggert and sarif.

once Braven22 makes a more detailed solution on where to find taggert and sarif then i will change my vote to a positive one.

Holy shit, where the hell is Sariff? Taggert was hard enough to find!?

Sariff is at level -4 in the southern most room. To get there take the elevator (not the one thats the mission marker) to -3 and then one of the staircases to -4. Taggart is at the top floor (level 2) in a big room with level 5 security lock, northern section of the map.

Gave it a positive. While the locations of Sariff and Taggert would be good, it would remove the exploration feel, and that is what a big part of a game like this is about.

I would recommend saving *after* going inside the room, since saving is not disabled after you defeat Zhao Run Yu and nothing special happens in the interim that prevents you from running through each option this way. There is a tiresome lengthy dialogue explaining what each button does, who would prefer that outcome, what might happen if you choose it, blah blah blah that I, for one, got sick of hearing the *first* time I entered the room.

Otherwise, this guide gave me a very helpful 'heads up' that the multiple endings could be triggered simply from the penultimate end of the game from a series of switches. Thumbs up.

I second Mobius's motion to save after Eliza gives you all 4 choices.

You definitely can save AFTER going in the room as stated by Mobius Evalon and Drummin003 above. Might want to add an edit. Thumbs up.

I just checked and you can skip all the movies after selecting the button... You may want to add this as it means it will only take 1 minutes this way

Xbox360achievements.org has a solution that you MUST also read the emails received after successfully completing the Yes, Boss achievement (dialog battle with Sarif) in order to open up all options. Can anyone confirm this? I'm on a Foxiest/Pacifist & Legend run, I'd rather not have to do another run through afterwards...

Dude what the friggn crap. Why didnt you mention that the fourth option is missable if you didn't talk to the two guys before the elevator ride. What a waste of time, thanks for that.

You don't need all of the secondary objectives done in the game to get this... Saying that is misleading as hell.

You only need to find Taggert and Sarif.. That's it.

the lift before going to the broadcast center warns u to talk to sarif and taggart. so learn to use your frigging map and find them, they're not that hidden. hell, sarif even is shouting his location when you enter the zone. pay attention dammit. lazy asses who can't do anything for themselves = -1, this solution= +1

Braven22 said mostly everything, but dont said where u can find Taggart and Sarif, you have to save them both to unlock all four posible cutscenes. A few guys requested it, so i made a video for you

The video is brilliant. However, you should edit your solution to contain ALL information and not reference another solution to do the job for you!

The code for the first door, the one with Taggart behind it, is 7153. Just in case you can't hack level 5 or have one of those fry things.

Fortunately, you do not need to go through the game multiple times to snag this trophy wink.

As you are making your way through Panchea, you will hear calls for help from Taggert and Sarif. Taggert is fairly simple to find (server room), and Sarif is a bit trickier (Machine shop I believe), but the point is they are not marked, so having the see through walls augment is helpful here.

There are also signs on the walls that point in their general location.

Anyway, talk to both of them, and then you have access to all 4 ending options, which is basically giving you the choice of whose message you want to relay out into the world (Darrow's, Sarif's, Taggert's, or your own via sinking Panchea). Get to Zhao (who went bananas in a serious way), take her down and move to the room behind her. Eliza will be on the screen, and you will see 3 switches in front of you and a hallway to your left leading to the 4th switch.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE, MAKE A NEW SAVE. Also, wait until Eliza is done talking so you don't have to waste time listening to her prattle on about whatever she was talking about roll.

Next, just simply select an option. You can skip the cinematics if you want (although I found them interesting) and after that the credits will roll. Watch the credits to the end for another trophy.

After that, simply reload your last save, and select a different option. Rinse and repeat until you see all 4 and this trophy will pop.

If you leave a negative vote, please explain in the comments below.

*Save*

There's a total of 4 endings in Dues Ex. To actually unlock some of them you'll have to read 3 important emails during the course of the game and speak to David Sarif + William Taggart on Panchaea. You should of done all 3 of these things as mentioned in the guide on their achievements and areas they relate to

When on the final level and given the task to broadcast one of the ending videos, make your save here. You should have a choice of 3 buttons to press. So press one, watch the video and then I suggest you watch the credits all the way through so you can net yourself the 'The D Project' achievement. Once you've done that, reload your save and repeat the process with the other two buttons (credits don't matter this time).

For the 4th ending, head through the open door to the left and at the end of the hall is the final ending. After you've watched the video, the achievement will unlock.

Easiest way to do it is to save game in the room where you choose ending, pick one, and load game for another one.

On Panchaea, you need to have spoken with Bill Taggart and Sarif to unlock the choice of selecting 2 of the possible 4 endings. After defeating Zhao, move forward into a room with 3 panels. Save your game here. You are offered 3 options in this room (if you spoke with Bill and Sarif), and a final 4th option lies in the passage to your left. Choose your desired ending, watch it to the end and reload the game choosing another ending. Repeat until you’ve watched all 4 possible endings.

There are 4 endings in total. The game does not need to be completed 4 times, the main thing is not to forget to make a save in the last room of the game (Broadcast Center in Panchaea) before making decisions.

Just before this you need to save all living people (Tagart and Sheriff). Otherwise, only 2 endings will be available.

Yes) there are 4 endings, but they only give you a choice from 3, I thought I couldn’t find anyone, I wanted to replay it, but when I loaded I saw a corridor and at the end of it there is 4 ending. If anyone is not attentive like me =)
