DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION

When working on the side-quest which is given to you by the undercover cop that is undercover as a prostitute. At the end of the chain basically you will have two options, Arrest O'Malley, or Accept his bribe.

Take his bribe, if you do you will unlock this achievement that i'm writing the solution for and

This solution is for the ones that get the glitch.
The quest can be started after coming back from Sarif Manufacturing Plant level. When you are tasked with visiting the Limb Clinic. Recovering the neuro chip from the hackers dead body in the police station is the other task. When you leave Sarif HQ in Detroit you'll go into free roam mode you can pick up side quests and explore. "Cloak and Daggers" is picked up from Jenny Alexander who is the only working girl you can have a dialog with. Located near the Chiron Building.

The order of completing the tasks doesn't matter however. The MCB portion when you need to knock out Double T is the part that is bugged. This part is of the quest is activated when you speak with O'Malley. One of the NPC will spawn incorrectly. It seems the NPC is suppose to be in the apartments kitchen. I have seen a lot of methods for a work around and seen a lot of ways the NPC will spawn incorrectly. I got the one that he spawns invisible and is floating up in the sky and says is like 100m away. Some have been able to shoot him with a sniper or tranq gun. Seen videos that it spawns on top of a building across the way or on top of the building. Seen it that he spawns in the wall.

Solution:
This is just an all around bugged quest. I read somewhere that the bug is from the patch update. From all the ways this can give you a bugged NPC spawn I would highly recommend this be a last play through or a save that can be over written. This quest is pretty fast to get to. Less then hour if you just blow through the prolong and first mission in the plant on easy mode. Reason being is you want to delete the patch from your memory cache. Then start the new game and play offline. When you finally get to free roam in Detriot run to the Apartment building that Double T and his crew will spawn and take out the front two guards. The apartment is in the back ally that has the basketball court across from it. It will be the top floor. Reason is that I read this was another method of a work around but without the patch removed was again not a for sure method since what glitch you will get is random at best. So its just that easy and you don't have to worry about shooting invisible icon locator's or throwing grenades randomly. After you take out the front guards go to Jenny Alexander accept the quest and follow it according as you wish. If you did my recommendation having this as a play threw thats only for getting this achievement then the rest of it is fast. Just run and gun Derelict Row. Grab the crossbow before going in Derelict Row. After its all done, pick to arrest O'Malley your self, then take his bribe and talking with Jenny Alexander a final time both achievements will pop for




Credits and sources are cobbled from lots of videos and message boards. I don't recall them all. This method worked for me and I got it done very quickly. This was fastest work around I read and I didn't have to jerk around with anything like all the other methods you would find online.
