Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

Just to inform people it is possible to S rank most mission's on Legendary Dark Knight mode with a Super Nero/Dante. Scoring is calculated ( (Clear bonus + Style Pts) x time x orbs found x Bonus & Penalty x Difficulty). Now you will need to S rank time and orbs found, an example from my run on mission 4. 2000 + 48136 x 3 x 2 x 1.2 x .2 x 1.8 = 129952 pts. I needed only 117000 to S rank. So below I will list to the nearest thousand, of style pts I earned to S rank the mission with a super Nero/Dante.

DO NOT USE ITEMS you will need 1.2x to achieve S rank if you're using a super Nero/Dante.



Mission 1. you can't use super, besides Dante not hard to fight. ???????? (Well here at lest.)

Mission 2. 44000

Mission 3. 49000

Mission 4. 48000 tip: need go to Central courtyard, both sides. And small hall with water on floor for more enemies to achieve score.

Mission 6. 64000 min. 56000 tip: 1. It completely base on luck with the die. 2. We're u deal with Angelo's be careful u will be swarmed by about 30 or more at the same time. 3. small hall with water on floor for more enemies.

Mission 7. 60000

Mission 8. Not possible. You need no less then 35000, my best was 32000. Don't use super for this level.

Mission 9. Not possible. Don't use super for this level.

Mission 10. Not possible. Don't use super for this level.

Mission 11. Not possible. Don't use super for this level.

Mission 12. 35000

Mission 13. Not possible. Don't use super for this level.

Mission 14. 25000 only if you get the no damage bonus. Tip: use only the Pandora PF594: ARGUMENT, activate devil trigger, switch to gunslinger style then triple jump in the air and press the B button, and keep pressing it tell there all dead.

Mission 15. Not possible. Don't use super for this level.

Mission 16. 50000

Mission 17. 73000

Mission 18. Not possible.Don't use super for this level.

Mission 19. Not possible with super nero as u will need over 90000 and my best was just over 60000.

Mission 20. No need to use super he's easy to fight.

I Am Legendary - Clear all missions in Legendary Dark Knight Mode with an S Rank

This is a new mode that was added in the Special Edition. It is similar to Son of Sparda except this mode spawns an exceptionally high amount of enemies. S Ranking every mission in this mode won't be a challenge as much as it seems, you will need to know how to be good at Crowd Control and you'll be fine.

Just by being moderately stylish, I was able to always get S Rank on Stylish, meaning that you'll need to have a good time and collect a minimum of 95% Red Orbs. Nero and Dante are exceptionally good characters to use in this mode, as a lot of their moves can control a crowd quite well and Dante is good at being stylish and powerful.

Bosses seem to be at their same health on Son of Sparda, which they shouldn't be too hard to pick off. Keep some enemies off screen so that they won't attack you (they will still move towards you, just won't attack)

Here are some strategies I used to help myself in this mode :-

- When I was up against a lot of certain enemies I can't handle (Frosts were the worst), I activated DT and spammed Stinger (++) until they were all defeated.

- I noticed that I used Overcharge a lot as Dante (++) when enemies were in small groups or lined up, this is a perfect move to use especially in DT as not only does it deal high damage, it also raises the stylish like crazy if connected to multiple enemies at once.

- I barely used Distorted Real Impact as there were too many enemies in the area to use if effectively.

- A 3 Exceed Stinger in DT is the perfect way to deal with a big crowd of any enemy type. The same goes for a 3 Exceed Shuffle in DT.

and like I do with every S Rank playthrough, if you get pissed off at a section, stop playing the game and calm down. Frustration won't help you get through a section.
