Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

Found an easy way to get this achievement. Run around and dodge while charging level 3 pistols on Lady or Nero. Once your combo hits SSS go into the pause menu and spam holy waters until he dies while making sure your combo stays at SSS. If it drops down just repeat step one until its back up to SSS.

== One Winged Devil - 20 GS ==
** Defeat Angelo Credo with an SSS ranking in Son of Sparda Mode or higher. **

This Achievement can be done on following difficulties and missions:

- Legendary Dark Knight / LDK
- Son of Sparda / SOS
- Dante Must Die / DMD

- Only doable in Mission 8

This is as well a solution for Nero players!

If you have decent skills, it shouldn't be a big deal. But at the end of the fight,
when Credo gets more aggressive he can perhaps waste your SSS and sometimes it's hard to get your SSS Rank again. How ever, there is as well a quite easy strat how you can build up your Rank without hitting him actually.
Skip to 11:45 !!!

This strat works also as well best on DMD. All what you have to do is, using B when he's walking or holding his shield to defend.
Then he is beaming away from you and want to throw his spears. Now this is an important part;

Get as far away from as possible, to get more time-frames to build your flawless SSS Rank.
When the spear comes do a Snatch. The Snatch it self is an attack which has a good range, hitbox and this move holds on for a few seconds.
So you can squeeze out a few seconds to concentrate and snatch these spears away.
He mostly throw 3 spears. When he is moving his hand towards to you, SNATCH but take your time to be safe. It requires a bit practice, but this is really quite easy. Throwing them back is much harder to time.
If everything goes well, like in my video which i have posted here, you ONLY need to repeat this part 3 times to get a flawless SSS Rank.
I also can advise you to charge your pistole, while doing this part.

Sadly, it is a bit luck depend, but it works most of the time. I have been doing this many times.

If you can beat him from the begin until the end by holding the whole time an SSS Rank, you can gain 5000 PTS, for each shield you destroy 800 PTS.

== Average strat ==

For people who aren't familar with this boss, you can use the Item "Holy Water" all the time until he dies. If your style meter is going to drop down you can repeat this step with the spears or try to do some damage.
Like for example using the Charge Shot Lv3. This skill increase the style meter very well. Repeat until it's over.

== Advanced strat ==

I will list you a few combos which are always good against beating him at first:

1: Highroller (up to the Air) <- + <-
- if you can charge shot while slashing, do!
2: Highroller (Air) <- Roulette Spin
- same as before

It is important that you don't do an Exceed Lv3 Highroller, since Credo can escape from attacks which has more then 2 constructive hits!

You can do always these combos when following requirements happens.

1: Get close to Credo
2: Wait a second until he prepares to attack
3: Avoid him by going away from him, until he's done with attacking
4: Most of the time, he has some ending lags from his combos
5: Go to him and start to do one of these combos.

When Credo is using his shield, by blocking your slashes, do not try to slash one or two more times. Just directly grab him by using the Button, to make his shield weaker.
Alternative you can damage his shield with a charge shot and then grab him if you're fast enough for this.

Nearly when Credo is going to die, he spams his small spears pretty much... there are a few ways to avoid them.
First what you have to know... you can DESTROY the small golden spears! If he summons them as a circle, you can destroy the circle by activate Devil Trigger or do a "Red Queen Combo C".
The other ones can be easily avoided by jumping and side rolling.

== My strat ==

This is only if you're familar with this game, but wants to expand your strats to beat him on any difficulty as well.
How ever, there is an instant kill strat, all what you need is to do;

1: When he has done his combo and got his ending lag, go to him
2: Activate DT when you're close to him
3: While he is flying up, you need to do a hop as close, as possible to him. The half of your characters body have to touch Credos head, to get ready to do jump cancels.

The following picture shows how you have to place your jump.



4: The inputs are there quite easy, they just need a bit of practice by using jump cancel and speed.
- ++ press soft the jump button ( - default), repeat. You always need to do Exceed. The slashes has barely touch Credos head to loop him.

You can repeat this until your DT is empty or you fail it. Doing this cause much DAMAGE, even if you just did the loop 2-3 times. You can combine this at the end with a Roulette Spin or a Grab.
