At the beginning of level 9 when you fight Alto Angelo wait until he summon the black ball. Quickly charge shot it and you will get an instant SSS rank. Every Alto can do this attack one time. The resulting explosion hurts and kills the other knights as well :)

By far the easiest way to get an SSS rank:

You will need Charge Shot on the character you are using. At several points in the game, you will encounter a group of one Alto Angelo and his two minions. Alto Angelos are the gold angels, his minions are the white ones. DO NOT KILL ANY OF THEM. Avoid their attacks until they retreat and begin to charge a giant black energy ball between them.

Quickly begin to charge up Charge Shot and wait until they launch the energy ball at you. Fire the Charge Shot as the ball nears you, and it will deflect it back at them, killing them all and resulting in an instant SSS rank and a crapton of Proud Souls. Rarely, if you are too far away, the deflected ball doesn't hit all of them, so try to be as close as you can but still give yourself room to react because the shot they fire at you moves extremely fast.

The best place to do this is at the beginning of Chapter 9, as a group of Angelos is the first set of enemies on this level. You can also use this level to farm Proud Souls for other achievements.

**This only works if there is an Alto (gold) Angelo present. It will not work if its just a group of the lesser (white) Angelos, as they do not work together.**
