How to unlock the Tonight, We Dine in Hell achievement in Devil May Cry 4 - Definitive Guide
This is awarded for beating "Hell or Hell" difficulty. This is arguably harder than DMD, as you die as soon as you are hit and have 3 gold orbs (Just like in "Heaven or Hell") and the enemies all have the same placement and health as Son of Sparda mode. Using super characters will definitely help (Beat DMD mode), remembering that you can actually utilize continues if you die 4 times (I never used continues out of habit), and taking your time with some of the more difficult enemies are key elements. Now if you are like me and hate enemies who will shoot out spike arms at you (assault chimeras), remember to use Nero's charged shot and be wary of long range attacks, or use dante's gunslinger mode with ebony and ivory for one adversary or the shotgun staying in the air with trickster to avoid enemies that might jump at you. Another thing to remember is during the dice games, take note of which numbers pop up, and then when the number you want pops up simply just press B without locking on and it will always land on that number. Now this last bit is pretty obvious, but if an area's exits aren't locked just keep going and forget about any enemies.
Here’s a few other things to note.
Avoiding enemies:
You might know this if you’ve made it this far, but enemies cannot attack you if they’re off-screen. They’ll move around and try to get back into your field of vision, but they won’t be able to initiate an attack. This doesn’t mean that moving the camera away will STOP them from using an attack they’ve already started (Frosts often get me from off-screen because I don’t notice them start to charge an attack before the camera moves), but it will prevent you from getting completely blindsided by most enemies. So if you have an enemy cornered in a room with a lot of other enemies, turn the camera (or center it behind you by clicking RS) so that the other enemies are off-screen.
Nero:
Even if you are using Super Nero, try not to stay in Devil Trigger all the time. Activating Devil Trigger will cause a burst of power which makes you invincible for a split second, and of course you can’t do that when you’re already in DT mode. If you’re about to get hit, go DT and the attack will go right through you, and aside from that you should stun most nearby enemies, giving you time to wail mercilessly on them until they’re dead. Once you’ve unleashed a combo and the enemies are a threat again, go back out of DT mode so that you can activate it again if you get in trouble.
This is especially important in boss fights. Most bosses make their attacks fairly obvious, even if dodging them can sometimes be difficult. Using the Devil Trigger burst makes it a lot easier to quickly dodge an attack and get right back to attacking.
Dante:
There’s no reason not to permanently DT with Super Dante. Well, okay, maybe one. SOME of his attacks take a little bit longer to perform than normal (the forward+Y for both Gilgamesh and Lucifer come to mind). Because of this, you’ll be left open to enemy attacks for longer periods of time. As long as you’re careful, though, it should be fine. DT Dante is extremely mobile; he can triple jump and use TWO Sky Stars (the aerial Trickster dash) before he has to land again. It’s cheap, but a sound strategy with Super Dante is to spam Stinger (Rebellion’s forward+Y) for normal enemies, spam the shotgun for Chimera-infected enemies, and jump around like mad when you need to avoid anything. You don’t need to worry about ratings in Hell and Hell, so a low style score doesn’t really matter. Trickster will probably be your best style in this mode.
Spamming the forward+Y attack for Lucifer does a surprising amount of damage to bosses, especially Berial and Dagoth who are ground-based. If you know their attacks well enough, you can leave yourself in Trickster style and keep using this attack until they try to hit you, dodge, and keep attacking. They'll go down pretty fast if you can keep it up, but again, in Devil Trigger this attack takes longer to perform and you won't be able to dodge as easily, so you might want to deactivate DT at that point.
If you’re still having trouble with Hell and Hell, I’d recommend watching some videos on Youtube of people doing no-damage DMD runs or Bloody Palace runs. Just seeing how the experts utilize the characters against specific enemies can help a lot.

Easy achievement, but long since you must make another run through the game. Hell and Hell is unlocked after beating Dante Must Die. In this mode, your life bar gets depleted in one hit. You are given 3 Gold Orbs to begin with so that means if you get hit 4 times, its game over. The Gold Orbs replenish at the start of every mission and whenever you continue so you don't have to waste red orbs buying them.
To unlock this achievement, all that is required is that you beat the game. That is what makes this achievement so easy since you can basically do everything you couldn't while going for S ranks. So for example, you could:
1) Continue. In fact if you continue 3 times, the game will automatically handicap the enemy.
2) Use super characters. Very convenient since the super characters unlock along with Hell and Hell when you beat DMD.
3) Spam Holy Waters. When in doubt, Holy Water. It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done, even on bosses.

Tonight, We Dine in Hell
Complete every mission on Hell and Hell difficultly
All you have to do is complete hell and hell difficulty so I suggest that you drop the S rank mentality and do whatever you can to complete the level. Now since you die in one hit your health items are completely unless so I HIGHLY recommend you use the super characters as they have infinite devil trigger and make the pain of another play through that much easier. Now you are going to want to learn to avoid enemies as much as possible just to make it way easier on yourself. To help you guys learn tactics about how to kill the bosses and enemies in some very effective ways. I am going to link you guys to a great player's play through of hell and hell however he goes for S ranks on style which, I don't recommend you do.
