How to unlock the Backroad achievement in Devil May Cry 5 - Definitive Guide

To unlock the Backroad achievement in Devil May Cry 5, you will need to summon the Nightmare during mission 4 of the game.

During mission 4, you will pass through a warehouse before entering a street. On the street, there will be a large fight and you'll be given a tutorial on the Devil Trigger Buffs for Shadow and Griffon. Kill enemies until you build up three bars of the Devil Trigger (purple gauge), and then press cn_LB to summon the Nightmare.

Once the Nightmare arrives and comes crashing through the wall of a building, the achievement will unlock.

In this video guide I will show you how to destroy a certain wall in mission 4. This will be about half way or more through the mission and you will fight a big group of enemies in and area with a brick building and on the wall is a graffiti skeleton. Once you activate nightmare the achievement will pop.

Your character switches to V. Later in the mission after you've pass the broken bridge you'll be ambushed by enemies as you progress. There is a wall with some graffiti on it that you'll notice once you've entered the area. You'll have to summon Nightmare and it'll break this wall. You need 3 bars of (DT) in order to summon Nightmare. Trophy unlocks as the special scene of Nightmare breaking through it to help you.
