Currently in the progress of getting this but the best place I found is on mission 13 right after the divinity statue. The section after it you can easily farm red orbs if you equip Faust and gunslinger then use his B attack and follow up detonation. After you kill everything you can restart the checkpoint and if you have Faust upgraded you'll get 500,000 red orbs in a few restarts. After you have enough orbs and Faust fully upgraded you can spam its meteor move that cost 45,000 red orbs per use at max level.

In this video guide I will show you how to spend more than 500,000 Red Orbs total with Dr. Faust. So first off you are going to want to farm for some red orbs. Do that in the same area I am in the video simply by pressing B near enemies. Once you get enough you can buy the upgrades for level 2, 3, and 4 if you want to be able to farm faster. If not just acquire the 500,000 or go over a bit. Then simply just hold the X button to fire it until the achievement pops.
