How to unlock the Too Easy achievement in Devil May Cry 5 - Definitive Guide

*This guide is based on having Super Costumes*

Alright so, you can select Bloody Palace from the main menu. It's a place where enemies come in waves. It has 101 stages. If you die, you will need to restart from stage 1 so I suggest play with patience and don't get yourself killed and waste your time. after completing a stage, you can use "Suspend" in the pause menu to save your progress and quit to the main menu. so you don't have to go through all 101 stages in one go.
there is a boss fight at every 20 stages. so there is a boss at stage 20, 40, 60, 80. near the end, the algorithm changes and you'll get a boss fight at stage 90, 98,99,100,101. stage 101 is the hardest, obviously. normally you'll receive health before boss stages but you have to do stage 98,99 and 100 with the same health bar. then you'll receive health for the last stage. I suggest finishing the game on Dante must die to receive Super Costume. bear in mind that the Unlimited Devil trigger WON'T heal you. If you die somewhere, before starting again you can select "Warm up". and it allows you to practice the last stage that you died in and all the other stages before it.

with Dante, It's the easiest among all three characters. no normal stage is really a threat to him. If things get hairy, make some distance with the enemy and keep refilling your Sin Devil Trigger and destroy everything. (First RT attack than LT on bosses).

Vergil can be a little tricky tho. but with the super costume, you can just hold B on Royal Guard and he can't hit you at all. (Dante gets his Royal Guard gauge refilled as well) very useful during Vergil's demon phase. wait until Vergil turns to human and when you have the chance, hit him with Royal Guard (LS + forward+ B) this will blast him with massive damage from RG gauge. I highly suggest not activating DT during the fight. because when he hits you on the royal guard, your Devil Trigger drains but refills very fast. but If you in DT mode, It doesn't refill and he hits you until your guard is broken.

Good Luck!

Y+X during SDT is Dantes Version of Judgment Nut. Very useful to insta-kill most enemies and clear out hordes

Also, both Urizen and Vergil can be cheesed with Dr Fausts Shield since this throws out constant damage while you can just RG everything. Throw in RG-attack with DT once its filled up. Managed to nodmg Vergil after fucking up the first time.

No idea what's meant by DF Shield, but the Y+X move is fab. For tougher enemies, hold RT and when that ends, use the X+Y (as it uses whatever SDT is left)

There's a move that puts floating orbs around you. Activate and royalguard/parry the attacks while the orbs deal dmg.

Okay, I think that's the "Magic Hat" move. With Gunslinger and Dr Faust, RB + LS back + B sends it out, then you can switch back to royal guard and the hat stays out. Holding X will make it shoot red orbs which you can do whilst blocking with RG. Though it seems very weak, even with DT activated.

What I did was:
- Complete wave 97 then wait!
- Get SDT charged up and then your DT back up
- Now pause > suspend, which will save your place and return you to main menu. Then quit the game completely so you get a cloud save back up. You can use this classic trick to give you a chance of retrying if you fuck up by deleting local save and resyncing. It's not bullet proof but it worked for me when I died to Vergil again, meaning I started from 97 again, saving my sanity.

- For 98 and 99, I had Trickster on (for easy dodges) and used Dr Faust's normal hold X attack with DT on to increase damage (and reduce flinching). This takes him down quite quickly and I only suffered a few hits.

- For 100, immediately switch to Gunslinger and start charging the meteor ability. Turn on DT before you release for extra damage. There's lot of YT vids to help you with timing. I wasn't perfect so after the usual two meteor attacks, I had to finish off with hold X

- Finally, for 101, start with the meteor again. If you're lucky, Vergil will faff around enough and you could charge enough to 1 shot him (with DT on of course). I wasn't so lucky but got in about 33% DMG. Then do a few RG hits as per the guide. Again, make sure you have DT (if only briefly) when you do the attack for that sweet dmg buff. I maybe did 2 or 3 attacks like that in his human form.

Then, to finish off (if needed) whilst his health is lowish and his attacks get more brutal, this is what the SDT charge was for. Use the trusty RT (The Luce) and follow up with X+Y (Judgement Cut(?)) if still not dead.

Hope this helps someone else!
