There is only two swords to collect.
Vendetta- Mission 7. In the room where the lava is flowing on the floor, jump down and go into the door in the middle of the lava. The Vendetta is located on the bed next to the skeleton.
Merciless- Mission 11. Found in the room with the spike trap dropping. Once you destroy the door head backwards and there should be a hole above you to jump in now. Follow the path and eventually you'll see the sword.

I originally missed the Merciless sword in mission 11, but it was there to pick up in Mission 14 next to me of the four blue orbs you have to activate to find Phantom

is there something more to do ? i got 3 swords & 4 guns but no achievments poped...

Dante has two swords to find:
- Vendetta is in mission seven. After you get the flame heart, cross the lava lake. There will be a platform with a door in the middle Go in, and the sword will be there.
- Merciless is in mission eleven. Break open the door in the falling spike room, then go back to where you came from and another route will have appeared below where you originally came in. Take this path to obtain the sword.
