How to unlock the Farewell-we-miss-you achievement in Dex - Definitive Guide
Quest: Ellie, The AI Researcher and then Destroy GSV-2.
Provider: Miranda and then Decker.
Location: Highrise in Miranda's apartment and then Tony's.
Additional Info: This is essentially a two-part achievement. The first half you will need to do before going to Redwood-Watts and the second while you are there, but before you deal with Mitchell.
The premise behind this achievement is that we need 3 key cards in order to access the area of Redwood-Watts that we need to. As such we have three targets living in the area where the game takes place. In order to unlock the achievement you need to show Ellie proof of how Iain supposedly died, and can actually do it in tangent with the other two achievements (Crash's identity and Mitchell's PTSD) related to this quest.
You will need to speak with Miranda to get the scoop on Ellie. She will give you some background information on Ellie and will inform you about the death of her lover, Iain Calderson. In order to properly deal with Ellie you will need to get more information about this brutal murder. The murder happened in the Afterlight Boulevard district so head to there and speak with Speedy who will charge you $300 video footage of the incident (this is the key component, you need this footage later). At this point Decker informs you the man who is on the video is Mitchell (the same one you need to get the key card from).
Here's where things get tricky. This achievement / quest is also intertwined with Mitchell's ("PTSD") and Crash's ("Papers please!"). As such you will want to make sure you do everything you possible can for all three targets before you actually speak with Decker and head to Redwood-Watts. Assuming you have done all you need to we will now focus on what you need to do once at Redwood.
To earn this achievement you need to head to the foyer, and proceed to the research area on level 2 to find Ellie. Once there simply show her the footage to unlock the achievement. If you were doing all three people's achievements at the same time you will have put the footage in Crash's computer, spoken to Mitchell, and then head to Ellie unlocking all three of their achievement in one go without locking out any other. When speaking with Ellie you want to choose the option where you show Ellie the evidence.
You get this achievement for notifying Ellie about Iain's death at the hand of the Complex. It is miss-able unless you choose that particular dialog path.
This achievement is story-related, but it is missable.
