How to unlock the They see me rollin', they hatin' achievement in Diablo II: Resurrected - Definitive Guide

This is pretty self explanatory. You need to have a unique (not a set) item in each of the following slots:

Head
Armor
Belt
Gloves
Boots
2 Rings
1 Amulet
1 Unique in EACH hand (so two weapons, or a weapon and a shield).

There is a small tip I have though which I just found out. Apparently quest-unique items work. For example, I had unique items for everything except an amulet. Finishing the act 2 quest to get me the Viper Amulet (the amulet that you put into the cube to get the quest staff), I equipped the amulet before transmutation, and it allowed me to unlock the achievement along with the rest of my unique gear. Only helps if you are missing an unique amulet, but thought I would post this for everyone!

I am fairly certain they do not, but I cannot confirm as I have already unlocked. If someone else can confirm I'll happily edit the solution to include that info

Well that's a bummer that unique 2-handed weapons don't work.

I tried a Sigon-Set with rings and amulets. This definitely does NOT work!

Just want to add that you can create some unique items as well. You just need a non-magic item (name in white or gray) with enough sockets to add specific runes. When I did the “Rus Do Fah!” achievement for spelling a rune word it gave me a gold unique item. However that will only work with helms, chest armor, weapons, and shields since only those items can have sockets. The rest you’ll still need to find as you play.

.
What is the ranking of the color-coded names? Weakest first.
Is a Gold name that different from a Yellow name?

I can say with absolute certainty that rune words do not work. I had three rune words equipped and it didn't pop, then I swapped those out for regular uniques and it popped immediately.

Seems there's conflicting info if rune uniques count or not but:

Makes it seem like they do not but can't confirm myself.

Runewords don't seem to work, here's my loadout and nothing popped.

Headgear: Harlequin
Body: Vipermagi (with extra socket from quest 5)
Hands: Chance Guards
Belt: Arachnid Mesh
Boots: War Traveler
Ring 1: SoJ
Ring 2: Bul-Kathos
Amulet: Mara
Hand 1: Gull
Hans 2: Rhyme (ShaelEth Runeword)

so now need a gold shield ...

There are unique versions of common, exceptional and elite items, however, for some types of items there are no unique versions.
Many unique items have a special look, while others look like regular items with slightly different colors.
Unique items can be won by gambling!

The trophy was given only when I put a unique item in each hand; with a unique two-handed item, the trophy did not fall.
