Hello dice-geeks,
In order to "hatch an egg", you gotta play the parallel universe from the character robot. The following Wiki gives a few details about that special "egg":

You will need to find that equipment during the level and equip it. Than first roll a 6 and place it on the equipment. After that, it will require a 5, a 4, ...
When you will play the last one needed, a new equippement "hatches" out of the egg and the achievement pops right away for you.
The 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 can be placed on the equipment over the course of several battles, dont need to be in a single fight.

I unlocked this with a rotten egg while playing as Alchemist on parallel universe so there is another option if you miss it on your robot run the first time.

Play in Round 5 of the Robot, and one of the possible options you get when leveling up to level 4 will be a "Precious Egg." Take that option. Equip it, and now what you need to do is use dice on it in descending order from 6 to 1 to hatch it. Thankfully it persists across all fights, so you don't have to do it in one turn, nor in a single fight. Each fight, chip away at it, using a 6, then a 5, and so on until you use a 1 on it. It'll hatch and give you a strong piece of gear, and unlock this achievement.
