Hudiemon is story-related in terms of adding her to the field guide HOWEVER the one you encounter in the storyline doesn't count for the trophy (or the registration) and you'll need to get your own in post-story.
Hudiemon as a whole isn't complicated to obtain however you need to have beaten the story, have a Wormmon, and do this on the same save file. You can't set your Wormmon up then go into NG+ and try to get Hudiemon as your first partner Digimon; you'll have to use a new Wormmon from that NG+ file.
Your Wormmon must have the following stats:
Level 15+
MAX SP 40+
SPD 40+
CAM 100%
Once you have those stats you can Digivolve Wormmon and get your trophy.
I got my Infermon out of the DigiFarm and De-Digivolved it back into Stingmon, then De-Digivolved Stingmon into Wormmon. I put him in my party with 2 PlatinumNumemon and went to K's Server in the Digilab and after one battle my Wormmon was level 21. Then I used the Friendship DX I had (unintentionally) been hoarding to boost the CAM (DX gives 25, regular Friendship gives 10) and back at the Digilab I just DIgivolved Wormmon.
Hudiemon is only a Champion level and as far as overall stats go she's pretty....um.....useless (imo).
I'd wager about 90-95% of the Digimon in the game can thrash her quite easily however her one redeeming quality is her Infinity Dream special ability which has a 50% chance to put poison, confusion AND paralysis on ALL enemies at the same time.
For the sake of experimentation I suggest you try her for yourself and make your own decision to keep her or not but her Digivolutions, Lilamon, Lilymon, and CannonBeemon, are just better by default.
