Digimon Survive

this boss is a pain in the ass in that youre forced to fight it with only metalgarurumon. if you do the true ending second, and did either wrath or harmony first, youre stuck with a metalgarurumon almost 40 levels below azulongmon and the only digimon allowed in this fight are metalgarurumon and some of your free digimon. so if you want it to be easier you could do moral first and grind metalgarurumon up to a decent level so that he doesnt join at a stupidly low level like i had to deal with where metalgarurumon just had to hide as my free digimon fought azulongmon. but, azulongmon can kill him anyway from far away and you lose if he dies, so it sure is a lot of fun... you can also lower the difficulty to very easy and win without effort if it feels unwinnable due to the game deciding youre stuck with just metalgarurumon and your free digimon who may or may not be low level. you also barely get to use metalgarurumon in moral, so grinding him up in moral may not even be feasible in the first place and it may be best to put the game on very easy and laugh as this poorly designed boss fight dies easily.
