How to unlock the Dominated! achievement in DiRT 2 - Definitive Guide

To get the maximum score in a domination event, you need to do 2 things:

Set the fastest time on each section of the track (the section will highlight in green on the left-hand meter if you currently have the fastest time).

and

Finish the event in 1st place.

If you did it correctly, you should see all 10s across the leaderboard for you at the end of the race.

I was able to do this on my second try on the first domination event you unlock in Japan, using the BMW Z4 M Coupe Motorsport on casual difficulty.

I had all maximum points at all sections (10 each), and the cheevo didn't unlock here.

Also, I failed it every time by losing a section at the end of the race. SO what I did, was when the race started, I didn't drive until the other cars were 30 seconds away. That way you can drive as fast as you can, without having the interference of the other cars. Just make sure you nail Section 1 on Lap 2 as fast as possible and you should be fine!

The achievement unlocks after you've continued and it goes through the menu jazz. At first I was puzzled why it didn't unlock instantly, and I figured I would have to re-do the race, but as the menus loaded up *BLIP*

To get this trophy you must enter a Domination event and get the best time in each sector 1-4 whilst also finishing first; 10 points per sector and 10 points for the win = 50 points. This will probably come naturally but if it causes you trouble just change the difficulty to easy.

Complete a race in this mode on the Malaysia map. the enemies there are very easy
