How to unlock the Mix It Up! achievement in DiRT 2 - Definitive Guide

To get this one, you have to play and finish at least one race in every discipline online:
Trailblazer
Raid
Landrush
Rally Cross
Rally
Last Man Standing
Domination
Gatecrasher (only available in Jam Session)

If you're playing alone, choose Custom Match in Jam Session you can search by discipline. The achievement can also be achieved with a buddy in Jam Session. (thanks, TheRealPH) You can check your achievement progress in the My Stuff section.

EDIT: Even just after launch it was hard to find any gatecrasher sessions online - your best bet is going to be finding someone to get the achievement with; try creating a Gaming session, maybe?

yea i made the jam setup 2 or 3 times and raced it and did the others but it wont unlock...

Thanks for pointing out that you need Gatecrasher.. Been playing the Pro Tour for the last hour or two wondering why I didn't have that achievement yet!

You don't need to be online to get this achievement, if you have access to system linked consoles then you just need to play each of the race disciplines one time against your system link opponent and you'll get the achievement.

Exactly, 2 xboxes, 2 discs, plus 2 TV's. Although I guess you could get it done with 1 TV if you keep switching the connections, but that wouldn't be very fun :)

There are 8 disciplines you will have seen during career, this is how to find them online:

Pro Tour > Time Bomb > Rally
Pro Tour > Time Bomb > Trail Blazer
Pro Tour > Skirmish > Landrush
Pro Tour > Skirmish > Rally Cross
Pro Tour > Skirmish > Raid
Pro Tour > Ruckus > Last Man Standing
Pro Tour > Ruckus > Domination
Jam Session > Custom Join/Create > Gate Crasher

Complete a race in each for the trophy. As crazy as it sounds, the lack of online players means that this may have to be boosted depending on your luck. Just get a partner and search at the same time to be paired up together.
