How to unlock the Eat my DiRT! achievement in DiRT 3 - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be gained whilst working towards the 'From DiRT to Glory' achievement.

DiRT 3From DiRT to GloryThe From DiRT to Glory achievement in DiRT 3 worth 184 pointsAchieve first place finishes in all DiRT Tour events

I gained the achievement after finishing first place in all four seasons. If you don't have the achievement by then, you will be able to get it whilst working on the six remaining world tour events.

This achievement is very easy to do whilst the opponents difficulty is set to 1 and all driving assists are enabled. Difficulty and driving assists can be set before the start of a race.

You earn extra XP for completing race objectives and for any unused flashbacks.

Driver Rep can also be earned online playing in any multiplayer mode.

Goddamn. How long does this take online? I'm nearly at rank 38, and I hit rep 20 a while ago, still not 30.

I can't even figure out how to check my rep level. Doesn't show in stats, unless I need to back out of MP to see something.

Your driver rep goes up as you complete races, both in the single player and multiplayer. After beating Dirt Tour and playing some online, you will unlock this achievement. Your driver rep is visible after every race you complete and is shown as a number within a blue circle.

Rep is basically this games version of experience, you gain rep in each race for your position, challenges that you complete and the amount of flashback you don't use. The amount given for the challenges varies based on your car, the cars unlock as you level up and the higher ranking ones generally give you more rep for completed challenges. You shouldn't need to worry about this too much if you are going for everything else including getting 1st in every event. The most significant rep comes from just winning races as you progress and the challenges with high level cars so those should be your priority. The flashback rep is negligible really so I wouldn't worry too much about that, use them when you need to if it means guaranteeing the win. You don't really need to worry about this trophy, it will come. You will get it long before finishing off "Into the DiRT" and "Platinum Performance". You will also get a lot of rep playing online going for the "Super Star" trophy.
