How to unlock the Global Superstar achievement in DiRT 4 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is very time consuming. You have to win every tier of rally races in the career until you get to the next to last tier. I unlocked the final tier with one set of races still left. The final tier is 5 stages, each with 6 events. So thirty races total. Those thirty races alone probably took me about 3 hours. A lot of them are 6, 7, and 8 miles in length. They are also a lot more challenging than the rest of the rally career. They throw all types of weather at you, as well as a lot of night courses. Just take you time and if you are having trouble beating the AI, you could always go back and lower the difficulty.

RoRoRacing also added the following to help you guys out:

Good guide, just wanted to add to please pay attention to your championship standings. The max points you can get for each event is 25, so if you get to the final event (6 stages) and you're leading by more than 25 points over the next guy, then you can start the event and then immediately retire from the event. You will place 30th in that event, but you will still win the championship and pop the achievement. I had 100 points going into the final event and the next guy only had 66. You'll see in the first few events who is coming in second, if it switches to another driver like it did with me, then you shouldn't have any problem getting more than a 25 point lead. That saved me from having to race the last 6 stages.

Note: When unlocking the Licenses to get to the GRS, you don't need to win every event/championship you compete in. You only need to finish each one (ie: not retire) in order to progress.

When leaving the DiRT academy when you start the game, you will earn your first license which will allow you to play in your first Rally event. Completing these events will unlock other longer events. Make your way to the last event, which will be the Global Rally Series. Once a new set of events is unlocked, you don't have to beat the remaining events in the previous one if you don't want to. While progressing through your career to unlock the last event, you will also earn the International Rally R-3 and R-1 licenses which will give you their respective trophies.

The Global Rally Series has 5 events and every event consists of 6 stages. You don't have to win all the stages but you do need to get the best overall time at the end of each event to earn the trophy.

The championship consists of 5 events, each of which has 6 races, to save time, we win 4 events and click at the beginning of the 5th - Retire from the event. They'll give you the trophy right away.

Before skipping the last event, make sure that there is a gap of at least 26 points between you and your nearest opponent.

I completed 3 events, all races in 1st place, skipped events 4 and 5 and ended up in first place. They gave me the trophy.
It's better to make a backup of your saves after the 3rd event.
