How to unlock the Taps Aff achievement in DiRT 4 - Definitive Guide
This requires you to finish a stage in a daily, weekly or monthly Community Event where the conditions are "Dry". The symbol for these conditions is a sun - just a sun, no cloud. However, the achievement description doesn't say that the stage must also take place in the middle of the day. It unlocked for me after finishing the third stage of a Weekly Event. The first three stages were all in Dry conditions but the first was in the morning and by the time the third stage took place it was around midday.
The achievement will unlock at the end of the stage, you do not need to wait until the event is over and the next one starts like some of the other Community Event achievements.

In the current monthly community event (December 2020), race #6 has a sun symbol without it being accompanied by a cloud symbol. So Race#6 shud count as sunny, right? But the thing is that I just completed the monthly community event, all 12 races. However no achievement. I am genuinely curious if I am just doing it wrong or if this is a legitimate bug?
Update: I got the achievement today (2020/12/26) in a community event called "Dirt Daily Live" which is a Land Rush event with multiple races. It unlocked after the first race. So if anyone wants that achievement and the date is still 2020/12/26 then play "Dirt Daily Live" right now!

So, the guide Destrier works great if there is a community event avaliable, however half the time, there doesn't seem to be. Upon further inspection, and I'm not sure if this has always been the case or not but as of today (2nd March 2021) the achievement description on the Xbox App for Windows 10, on Xbox consoles themselves seems to be slightly different that what TA mentions. On Xbox it states the following:
"Finished a Stage in sunny conditions in Community Events or Clubs"
So to make this super easy for those who decided to sign up for a Racenet account when they first opened the game:
Go to https://www.dirt4game.com/
Click the top right where it says "PROFILE", and then login, choose your Microsoft account as the login option and follow the instructions/accept the EULA/T&Cs. Once done, you should end up on the homepage again.
Click top left under "Online", followed by "Clubs", then on the next page you should be able to hit "Create a Club". Choose whatever name (this has to be unique) and handling style you like, the rest can be left default. Scroll down and click "Next".
You'll be thrown into creating your first championship, so click the massive "ADD EVENT" button.
Now choose whichever gamemode, country & vehicle restriction you would like on the left side, then move over to the right side, make the length as short as possible, and the complexity and low as possible.
Next comes the part you should pay attention to. Select Midday in the "Time of Day" section, and Dry in the Weather Section.
Scroll down, past the stage preview and just click "Save Event".
On this next screen, just press "Continue to Step 3", followed by "Done" on the next page.
Now, open up DiRT 4 on your console, navigate to "Events", "Multiplayer", "Clubs", and wait for it to download the data. You should see your club that you just created show up. Now just load into that stage, drive through it as fast or slow as you'd like and once you get awarded the XP from completing it, you should have the achievement pop.
Although this looks like a lot, its about a 3 minutes process on the website and another 5 minutes in game with loading screens etc.
This is one of my first guides so please let me know how I did and comment on why, if you did downvote it.

This one is pretty easy. From the main menu, choose "Events" then "Competitive" and choose "Community Events". You will have a choice of different events like the daily, weekly or monthly. Find an event that looks like its sunny and select it. Once in the event details you will see the stage that will show the name, length, etc. On the bottom right of it box will be a weather icon that denotes what kind of weather the stage will have. If it has a sun, it will be considered sunny conditions. Just because the pic of the event looks sunny doesn't always mean its gonna be sunny so always look for that weather icon in the event details. Just finish the stage and the trophy will pop
You need to have the full sun weather symbol shown when viewing the stage conditions. If it has the sun with a cloud symbol, then this won’t count as that tends to be overcast conditions.

There is no need to wait for anything.
You can go to an offsite, organize a club, have an event with one simplest and shortest race, set the weather to Dry and the time to Midday and run this race.
Or use mine . If I ever forget to update it, just write to me on PSN.

In an online event, you must complete any race in sunny weather

The only eligible race, at the moment, was the event for purchasing the Day One edition of the game, so the trophy is currently unattainable in any other way, unless the developers pay attention to this, as with the lack of Delta Daily events, which now appear almost every day.
