To add to this solution, the 8 race types are:

1. Land Rush
2. Rally Raid
3. Stampede
4. Ultra Cross
5. Ice Breaker
6. Sprint
7. Path Finder
8. Gymkhana

You can complete all 8 race types during Chapter 1 if you choose to complete all of the race paths.

It's probably good to know that the progress of this achievement doesn't show on the achievement tracker. You get the achievement (from 0% to 100%) after completing all race types.

There are 8 types of event in the game and you will need to complete multiple of each on your way to winning all events, making this trophy unmissable. There are examples of all 8 event types in the first chapter of the career. For reference, the event types are:
  • Ultra cross (circuit racing)
  • Rally Raid (point to point racing)
  • Land Rush (circuit racing)
  • Stampede (4x4 circuit racing)
  • Ice Breaker (circuit racing on ice)
  • Sprint (Oval racing)
  • Path finder (point to point rock-crawler style time triel)
  • Gymkhana (stunts where you need to meet a points target)

To get this trophy you need to complete, i.e. get at least one star, races of all types, i.e. rally cross, gymkhana, patchfinder, etc.

There are eight types of events in the game. The first chapter puts all of these events in chronological order, so this trophy will be unmissable and easy to obtain within the first hour or so of game time.

Eight types of career events:

Type of career event and what it consists of.

Ultra Cross - Standard off-road circuit racing.

Gymkhana - This event consists of a timer and a score requirement, which is achieved through drifts and other tricks.

Rally Raid - Standard race from point A to B without a timer, only the race completion percentage in the top left.

Land Rush - Circuit racing, usually consisting of three laps.

Icebreaker - High-speed circuit racing on ice
Sprint A standard oval race usually consisting of five laps.

Crush - 4x4 off-road racing on harsh sandy terrain on various tracks.

Pathfinding - Race against the clock on extremely challenging tracks with jumps, steep drops, hairpin turns and obstacles.
