How to unlock the Stuntmasta' achievement in DIRT 5 - Definitive Guide
First off, there's an option in Driving Aids called "Tricksteer", which is to supposedly help in Gymkhana events. I couldn't personally notice much difference with any of the settings, so set this to "Off".
My focus is to build a 2x multiplier from doing donuts. 2 donuts will usually get you there, or very close. Bear in mind that after the first donut registers, there will be a brief pause before the second begins. After that head on over to the purple 360 spin pad. Get as close to the centre as possible, hit the handbrake and keep spinning. This method will get you 3 gold coins easily on each career event. Just do a scout on your first run to find the dount ring that has a spin circle nearby. If you take too long between tricks, you'll lose your multiplier, so try hitting some boards or do simple drifts to keep the chain going between donut and spin circle.
For the achievement, I chose the first Gymkhana event "Cape Town Stadium" in the first chapter "Ignition". I used the Skoda Fabia.
The donut is just to the right of your starting point and the spin circle is just to the left.
After the jump, do your 2 donuts to get the multiplier up, the head off to the spin circle (try hitting a couple of boards on your way). Hit the spin circle as centrally as you can, then pull your handbrake and spin. You'll get 'Stale' appear after a few spins, but stick with it and you should get to 30,000 easily enough. The key is a 2x multiplier before you hit the spin circle.
In my video you'll see I messed up the start a bit getting the donuts to register, but got there within the time limit. Thanks to BIG BOSSDEN for the idea

I couldn't quite nail it doing the above guide listed above....but without even breaking much of a sweat, I unlocked it in the following event.
Red Zone
Gymkhana Mesa Valley
I just kept going through the drift zone at the far end of the map and drifted between the containers near by and hit the drift object to keep the multiplier up.

As of version 5.00 this trophy was made slightly more difficult due to tricks going 'stale' if you repeat them several times in a row. However, a x3 multiplier was added to offset this. The cars used in these events are generally a bit tricky to drive but with a little patience this trophy is doable. The best approach is to target the pink bonus blocks, high speed gates, jumps, yellow drift gates and finally, the purple donut pad. Your mileage may vary but I found this easiest to do on the "Gymkhana Gauntlet" event in the Velocity series. Start out and do a couple of laps of the arena hitting the above mentioned features until you have a x3 multiplier and 15,000 points. Now go to the purple donut pad and spin around (full throttle, handbrake and a direction) until time runs out.
Here is a video showing an example run that is far from perfect and had an uneccessary go around the green donut feature.

For those who do not have fully developed driving skills, I advise you to choose the Gymhana Gauntlet, a Subaru WRX car. In the far right part there is a bonus area where you need to “give a corner” by letting the car go into a small skid, for which they give ~2000 bonuses if you maintain speed. Having passed it, we turn around and enter it again, if you do not encounter obstacles, then in half the allotted time, simply riding in a circle on this section you can quickly score 30k points. A little further there is a springboard, you can alternate, it also gives you 2k points.

If suddenly, like me, it doesn’t work out with the Subaru, try the Mini Couper - it’s faster (which increases the speed of gaining points when drifting) and more sensitive to control (it’s easier to drift through a corner).

Everything turned out to be much simpler, you need to turn on the manual gear shift mode, turn on second gear and ride in a circle in it. Did it the 2nd time. Video

This trophy requires you to score 30,000 points or higher in the Gymkhana event. This is one of the hardest trophies in the game, but there is a way to get it. Unlike the Gonna Need New Tires Gold trophy, this cannot be done in the Gymkhana tutorial (accessible by pressing R3 on the Gymkhana event).
To easily obtain this trophy, first select the Gymkhana event in Career Mode. Once you are in an event, notice the purple square that shows arrows going clockwise. On this square you can rotate 360 degrees and earn points for drifting. However, to use this method effectively, you need to increase your in-game multiplier to 2x. The reason for this is that when doing 360 spins in a square, after three spins the trick does not affect your multiplier, so it is recommended to reach the 2x multiplier than to go for the purple square. Keep in mind that you also have time limits.
Once you get close or 2x in size, go to the purple square (varies between events) and do a 360 degree spin. Keep spinning until the event ends and don't let go of the spin as you will need to return to the position which will waste time. To view the video tutorial, click below.

Unfortunately, this method, which is shown in the video, no longer works, because... when rotating, the counter from x2 drops after three revolutions to x1, so now you have to knock out the trophy without this glitch.
