How to unlock the Watch the DELTA achievement in DiRT Rally 2.0 - Definitive Guide

For this to unlock you need to PURCHASE one of every Group A car.
That's a total of 4 cars:

1) Subaru Impreza 1995
2) Lancia Delta HF Integrale
3) Escort RS Cosworth
4) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI

These will randomly become available in the "Purchase Vehicles" section of your garage, usually 2 at a time. Depending on the condition Group A cars will set you back between 245-290K credits. Once the selection of cars is settled you will need to wait for a set amount of time for the selection to reset so you can get new cars.

IMPORTANTLY you only need to PURCHASE every Group A car to unlock this achievement. You DO NOT need to actually have all 4 cars in your garage at the same time. You can sell them almost as soon as you buy them (at a loss of about 50-90K credits) - just make sure the achievement tracked your progress. Also, if you got the Subaru because you got the Deluxe edition it does NOT count. You still need to buy a 1995 Subaru to get this achievement.

Thanks for confirming we don’t have to keep them and have all at the same time. Will save a lot of grinding for cash.

There seems to an issue with achievement tracking on the dev side of things. This and several other achievements don't seem to be tracking properly at the moment. I would suggest waiting for an update.

Looks like this was fixed in the latest update, although it doesn't appear to be retroactive. So even if you own all 4 Group A cars (like me), you'll still have to buy two more if your achievement tracker is stuck at 50%. Not sure if it matters which.

Edit: I had to rebuy three Group A cars because only two of them counted, so I'm really not sure which cars the achievement tracker has checked off and which it hasn't.

It was still broken for me. I bought the 4 cars, sold them, rebought again, sold, rebought, sold... nothing.
I've found a workaround solution on Steam, which seems to working well on all platforms:

All credits goes to " Zenithie's (ZbP)".

Thanks XbAndy360 for the link, had the same issue - luckily I didn't need to buy the same car twice since it wasn't on sale - so I started a career championship with one car (Ford in my case) and then bought Mitsubishi which was on sale and it finally unlocked :)

Thanks for the list. All I had to do was wait for each of the cars to come into rotation

I buy all 4 cars listed above, but it stuck at 3/4, seems “Subaru impreza 1995” does not count for me. Even though I have try sold and buy it again, it’s not work.
BUT, when I buy another group A car “SUBARU LEGACY RS” which is in the DLC, the achievement poped. ps. I got Deluxe edition.

The method from Steam forum worked well. In my case it was Ford Escort that didn't register.

The trophy is still glitchy. If you bought all the cars, but it didn’t drop out, we start the career championship in any Group A car (in my case it was a Ford), start the first race and immediately go to the menu. Next, we go to the store and buy a second same car. After these manipulations, the trophy fell to me immediately, if not, we continue to buy duplicates of other cars in the same way until success.

I didn’t get the trophy because I had to buy the second Subaru from ’95, which was given as a gift with the release of the DLC. Donated cars are not taken into account - you will still need to buy them

As of May 1, 2020, the trophy is still buggy. It fell out after I bought a second Lancer using the method described above.

The reason why the trophy does not drop even after the latest update is that some car, or even more than one, was purchased before the update. If funds allow, then it would be optimal to sell all the cars in group A and buy again, or sell and buy one at a time, remembering which cars were purchased new.

The trophy is not glitchy. If there is not one car you need to buy, then just go to the store a little later and the car you need to buy will appear

You need to buy cars: 1. Subaru impreza 1995, 2. Lancia delta hf integrale, 3. Ford escort rs cosworth, 4. Mitsubishi lancer evolution VI
It will take about 1,080,000 loans to purchase all the cars. The best option would be to get this trophy from “Living the dream”, buy cars of one class at first, then sell them and buy all the cars of another class with the addition of money. Usually, all cars of the same class are not sold at once; in this case, Mitsubishi is sold separately from the rest and you will need to wait for the stock update to buy all the cars at once.
