FIA World Rallycross Championship mode can be found under the Free Play tab on the main menu. This achievement can be a bit time consuming considering each "Event" is a series of races. Each "Event" should be 6 races. The first 4 being qualifiers and 4 laps each, followed by a 6 lap Semi-Finals and a 6 lap Finals.
You do not have to progress 8 events into the Rallycross Championship, you just have to complete 8. You can race at the same location multiple times and it will still count.

Drops only on 2018 vehicles! I drove in 2019 and didn’t get the trophy, but they gave all the prizes, including the Fiesta MK7. You can enable Hardcore Damage for another +50k to the prize money
