How to unlock the DiRTy Dancer achievement in Dirt Rally - Definitive Guide
Go the Custom Event (not championships) and select Hillclimb, choose Pikes Peak, USA (Mixed Surface) as the location, Stages to 1, Results Type as AI Drivers and AI Difficulty as Open, then continue.
Press RANDOMISE CONDITIONS until you get the weather you want, then select the sector you want (I got the achievement on sector 2 but assume it would work for any sector, please add a comment if you find it doesn't) and continue.
Select the 405 T16 Pikes Peak and start the run. (If you don't want to run twice you can pause once you pass the start and select Abandon Run on your first run. Make sure you note the first place time as you will have to beat this). Now all you need to do is win against the lowest difficulty opponents, should be easy with a little practice.
Assuming you purchased the Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak for your hillclimb vehicle, the next step towards unlocking this trophy is winning a mixed surface event at Pikes Peak. A mixed surface event features both Tarmac and Dirt surfaces within the same run. Mixed surface events start to become rotated into the hillclimb career playlist once you reach the ‘Professional’ level.
If you decide to choose the Hillclimb Championships for your route towards winning a Masters championship (as is recommended), there should be several opportunities to unlock this trophy. You only need to win one event, which usually entails settings the fastest time over 2 runs.
As with the rest of this game, getting to the point where you can consistently win at Pikes Peak will require some time and practice, as learning the track is essential to setting fast times. Luckily, the track layout does not change if the track is on dirt or tarmac, however you will have to change your driving style, braking points and cornering speeds depending upon the track surface. The A.I. generally set slightly more forgiving lap times on mixed surfaces relative to straight Dirt or Tarmac runs, so setting a winning time is made a little easier. If you are struggling however, make sure to win the event on the lowest A.I. difficulty you can still find mixed surface events on, usually Professional level.
Do everything as in the video, choose the Paice Peak route, mixed surface, or any of the three sections of the route. I walked through the middle, second section as in the video.
