Now start event
Now choose Lombardi 336lm
and choose your 2nd controller as Beliveau
Now start the race with your 2nd controller go round slowly wait at the checkpoints for like 10-20 seconds longer if you want i did 30-40 seconds now finish the doing the same at every checkpoint now grab your 1st controller finish that lap but again wait to take longer at each checkpoint so your slower than your 2nd controller now go past the finish line NOW your on the last lap Floor it full speed and beat the checkpoint times
Then grab your 2nd controller and finish the race Then the achievement should pop Good luck guys!.

What you need to do is hang back for the first two laps (assuming it's a three lap race - I can't remember any that aren't, but if you come across one adjust accordingly) - then floor it to try & get the fastest time in each sector for the final lap.
If you just cruise for the first two laps you will get two benefits:
1 - the AI will post slightly slower times as you are so far behind
2 - there will be nobody behind you to take your sector domination back off you
Car and track selection are purely down to personal preference - I used the very 1st domination event and an A class Zenden Cup.
Obviously it will be easier if you drop the difficulty down to casual.
Finally, although the 'chieve title is "Zero to Hero", you do not have to come from last place to first - just from 0/4 sectors dominated to 4/4 dominated. So if you do forget yourself for a second and get a slightly faster sector you don't need to restart - just make sure not to dominate one before the final lap.
Or, as Gizmo2k says, you can also do this in splitscreen if you're having trouble.
Set up a 2lap race on any course. Have your second controller go around first, I deliberately made him do times of 15s per section on the Miami track (the default one on the options screen). Then just do that for both laps with Player 2.
Then with your main profile, do the first lap, BADLY, post times worse than 15 seconds per section, obviously, then on the final lap, go for it, it'll be very very easy.

You have to be the fastest in all the sectors in the domination event. The key word here is FINAL lap. In the left of your screen you can see each sector. When you dominate the sector it'll become yellow. If you dominated a sector but lost domination in a later lap, you will NOT get the trophy. If you dominate all sectors but you don't beat your own domination targets in every sector of your FINAL lap, you will NOT get the trophy. The easiest way to obtain this is to make sure you don't dominate any of sectors going into the last lap, then in the last lap dominate all sectors.

To unlock this achievement you must dominate all sectors on the FINAL LAP.
If you have dominated any sectors before the final lap the achievement will not unlock, do not go the fastest in any of the sectors until the final lap.

It is precisely on the last lap that you need to dominate at each checkpoint.
If you dominate the first lap and don't beat your own record on the next lap, you won't get the trophy.
It's easier to do this:
In this mode, usually 3 laps. You drive 2 laps in last place, and as soon as the third lap starts, put the pedal to the floor and pass checkpoints in the minimum time, that is, you must be first at all points.
After the transition, you will be given a trophy.
