How to unlock the Receive 9, Move 60 achievement in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice - Definitive Guide

You need to throw an object in such a way that it is "received" 9 times by friendly monster characters and moves over 60 panels.

To accomplish this, you'll need one normal character and 9 monster characters whose total throw distance exceeds 60. Green Slimes are great for this, as they have a base Throw of 7. You can recruit 9 Green Slimes if you wish, or mix and match with other monster types.

Setup:
Practice Map
1 monster with Throw 8
7 monsters with Throw 7
1 monster with Throw 5
1 character with any throw distance

On the Practice Map, place the characters as follows (based on default orientation) from the Base Panel. I'm assuming Green Slimes all have Throw 7, a Prinny has Throw 8, a Mothman has Throw 5, and the character has Throw 6.
Slime 1: Left 1, Up 4, facing right
Slime 2: Up 4, facing down
Slime 3: Up 4, Right 6, facing down
Slime 4: Up 4, Right 7, facing left
Slime 5: Down 3, Right 5, facing up
Slime 6: Down 3, Right 6, facing left
Slime 7: Down 3, Right 7, facing up
Prinny: Left 1, Down 3, facing right
Mothman: Down 3, facing right

Now deploy the character, move Right 2, Down 2, pick up the Change Green, then throw it 2 panels to the left. End Turn. At the next turn, move Left 3 panels, pick up the Change Green, and throw it six panels Up. It will be received by all monsters present, and move the Change Green 61 panels by themselves. The trophy will pop when it finally lands.

Equipping the Slimes with movement boosting gear is important. If you take too long to set up, the Prinnies on the map will come after your units. They may also attack if you End Turn within two panels of them.

These trophies refer to throwing an object to a character a certain distance. Slimes work very well for this, since they have a bounce distance of 7. You can also use the class world and cheerleader's spells to increase the throw distance of your other characters, but that's very time consuming compared to the slime tactic.

Make or capture 9 slimes. Go to Chapter 1: Practice Map and follow the video. My slimes move farther than normal slimes because I've loaded them up with boots. This isn't necessary, it will just take a few less turns to get them into position. Use square to make them face the proper direction.

The trophy is quite simple, but requires some preparation. To get this trophy you need monsters to “advance” the item 60 squares. As you know, monsters in the game cannot lift or throw objects, but if you throw an object at it, it will “kick” it the specified number of cells in the direction it is facing. The picture hint shows how you need to arrange the characters to get this trophy. To begin with, you will need 9 “slugs”, you can use any monsters, but you need to “advance” the item by 60 cells, and of the simple monsters without improvements, only they can “throw” by 7.
After you have made nine “slugs”, go to the very first training card and repeat the following sequence of actions. I'll use X and Y as the coordinates, where X is the horizontal coordinates and Y is the vertical coordinates. You need to count from the bottom left corner.

  • Place your character on “3, 1”, pick up a block and throw it on “7, 1”. This is three cells to the right of where he stands.
  • Take the first “slug” and equip it with all the items that can increase its movement (Accelerators, Phoenix Wings, Barefoot X, etc.), then move it to the lower left corner “1, 1”.
  • Remove items from him, get the next one, put him on and move him to “2, 1”.
  • Remove items from him, take out the next one, put him on and move him to “1, 2”.
  • Changing clothes should now be clear, so move the next “slug” to “2, 2”.
  • Get a new one and set it to “8, 1”.
  • The next handsome guy is on “9, 1”.
  • The next one is at “8, 2”.
  • And before the last one on “9, 2”.
  • Now you can end your turn, the penguins will not move yet.
  • When your turn starts again, move the slug from "1, 2" to "1, 8".
  • Move the "slug" from "2, 2" to "2, 8".
  • Move the "slug" from "8, 2" to "8, 8".
  • Move the "slug" from "9, 2" to "9, 8".
  • Move the character who can throw to “6, 1” so that he is near the cube.
  • Now take out the last “slug” at “3, 1”.
  • Make sure all the slugs are facing the right way. Use to turn the slugs in the right direction, namely:
"1, 1" should face up, north.
"2, 1" should look up, to the north.
"3, 1" should look up, to the north.
"8, 1" should face left, west.
"9, 1" should face left, west.
"1, 8" should look to the right, to the east.
"2, 8" should look to the right, to the east.
"8, 8" should be facing down to the south.
"9, 8" should look down to the south.
  • Now your character must pick up the block and throw it at the monster on "1, 1".
  • After all the monsters on the screen kick the block and it lands on "3, 8" you will receive this trophy, and the "Receive 4, Move 20" trophy.
