How to unlock the Dilapidation achievement in Dishonored 2 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is earned in mission 7 "A Crack in the Slab." After getting the time turner device (one of a number of Harry Potter-like things that show up in this chapter), you need to head to a small courtyard to the right of the main inner ballroom in the back-center of the house (the large multi-story room you would come to by going through the front door, straight ahead through the lobby and through the doors then down the short corridor). YOu can get to this courtyard by entering the large ballroom and heading to the right, or by cutting through the kitchen, grabbing the kitchen key from a cabinet (in the present time line), then exiting the kitchen through the small storage room in the back. The window in this room overlooks the courtyard.

To unlock the achievement, you need to destroy the two red canisters on the balcony scaffolding straight across from the kitchen storage window (in the past timeline), then switch to the present to discover it collapsed and climbable. It unlocked for me before I even climbed it.

There are a few guards in the past time line (and potentially some hounds in the near room in the present), so deal with them how you wish, or just ignore them to unlock the achievement.

During A Crack in the Slab use the Timepiece to go to the past and shoot out the supports under the balcony. Return to the present and the balcony legs will have rotted away, allowing you to climb up.

During A Crack in the Slab, you need to shoot two red supports to a balcony in a large room with a few guards. You can do this from the kitchen pantry, there is a broken window in the present that allows you to climb in there and you can shoot through the window in the past after you break it. This will make the balcony become a ramp and be accessible in the present.

This achievement can be earned during Mission 7, A Crack in the Slab.

After obtaining the Timepiece from The Outsider, leave the room via time travel, similar to how you would for the "Under the Table" achievement, and remain in the past (with the manor fully restored). Follow the same path through the corridor and through the kitchen and out into the courtyard as you did for the "Flooded Basement" achievement. Take care of the hound here and move yourself into the alcove on either side of the yard.

Time travel back to the past; there will be two guards present in the area: one in the courtyard itself and another on the balcony. After they have finished their dialogue, eliminate the lone guard and turn your attention to the now-empty balcony. Use your crossbow to shoot the two support beams of the balcony. After doing this, time travel back to the present and you will notice the balcony has collapsed. Climb the rubble in order to reach the second-story floor and the achievement will unlock mid-climb.
