How to unlock the Fatal Redirect achievement in Dishonored 2 - Definitive Guide

It's possible to earn this trophy by shooting yourself. Use Bend Time (with the Stop Time upgrade), fire three or four bullets, then move so you're directly in the line of fire before unfreezing time.

This should be done on a playthrough in which you have powers enabled. You will need to unlock the "Reflexes" and then the "Deflection" powers prior to attempting this. These can be a little expensive in terms of runes, and they are pretty useless if you're attempting a stealth only run, so I would recommend creating a save, unlocking these powers, getting the achievement and then reloading so as to save yourself some runes.

With the power unlocked, you need only holding the block button with your sword and you shall deflect bullets from your front. I would recommend finding a lone guard, one that has a pistol. Once you have their attention, stand a small distance away so as to prompt them to use this pistol and simply hold block. The bullet should hit your sword and deflect back at them, doing damage. Note, a single bullet is unlikely to kill them, and so you might need to wait for them to get back up and attempt a second or even third shot. Once they're dead, achievement unlocked, reload your save.

This achievement requires you to buy the Reflexes skill along with the Superior Deflection upgrade. The upgrade that gives you extra time may also be useful, but is not necessary. If you don't want to buy these upgrades for your primary play, save, get the achievement, then reload.

Once you've bought the upgrades, find one of the officers wearing the red coats. Try to kill any other guards in the area so they don't interfere, then get the attention of the officer. They're pretty much guaranteed to fire a gun at you if they spot you from a distance. As they fire you need to hit block to deflect the bullet back at them. Note, that a single deflection won't kill them. It probably takes about three successful deflections before they've taken enough damage.

One complication is that after the first shot, they'll likely close to melee range with you. Try not to swing your sword at them, just block and when you get a chance grab them into a hold then throw them away from you. At this point, they'll temporarily lose sight of you and when they see you again (keep a little bit of distance), they should reset to firing a gun at you again. Keep repeating until you get a deflection to kill them.

This achievement can be earned at any time during your playthrough and can be done wither either Corvo or Emily.

Before attempting this achievement you will want to have at least three Runes available. With the required Runes on hand, open the character menu by pressing and scroll over the the "Powers" tab. Now scroll down to the bottom block of skills and unlock the "Reflexes" skill (1 Rune), followed by the "Superior Deflection" skill (2 Runes). These skills will deflect any projectile to the closest enemy while you are parrying in combat.

All that's left to do is to find an enemy guard who wields a pistol. Once you've tracked one down, engage in open combat, distance yourself quite a bit so that they are forced to use their firearm, and tap as they shoot their pistol to block and deflect the bullet. Do this twice (or thrice depending on how much health they have) and it will kill the enemy, thus unlocking the achievement.

NOTE: This achievement cannot be obtained on a "No Powers" playthrough since the "Powers" tab in the character menu will be unavailable, therefore disallowing you to choose the skills necessary for proper setup.

In the skills we buy for runes: REACTION, there we also buy EXCELLENT REFLECTION and BLOCK MASTER.
We are looking for an enemy with a pistol (usually women in crimson jackets), we attack, we pin down and back away waiting for a shot. Two reflected shots should be enough to kill the enemy with his own bullet

Or you can stop time, fire a gun and stand in the path of the bullet.
