How to unlock the Sliding Marksman achievement in Dishonored 2 - Definitive Guide

I got this in the first mission. Right after you get down to the streets from the roof, take out all the enemies in the first area. Now, there is a guard standing still facing away from you at the bottom of the road leading up to the next area. Position yourself against the blockade (the one with the health potion on it) and save your game. Then start sprinting, crouch to slide and fire away. Got it on my second try this way!

In mission 2 when you end up on the docks you'll find a guy just sitting around fishing. There's a good bit of space around him so just step back and take a run and a slide at him and hopefully your aim will be better than mine.

You need to accept the gift of the Outsider to do this, because you need the Reflexes skill and the Focused Slide upgrade (3 Runes total) in order to get this trophy.

This achievement is tricky, but not as bad as it sounds. You might have to try a bunch of times, but it might not take too long. Find a guardsman with their back to you and a good running path toward them (I did it at the wall of light by the docks in Karnaca). Make a quick save before you start, so you can easily reload and try again. Make sure your crossbow is equipped (might also work with a pistol).

Go running toward the guard and into a slide. When you do so, the aiming point will shift so you have to try to reaim at the head and fire before the slide ends. You don't actually have to kill the guard with the shot, just hit him in the head while sliding. If you fail, do a quick load and try again. Probably took me about 10 minutes of trying, 15-20 times, maybe.

There are some powers and upgrades that might make it easier, but I did it without using any.

This achievement can be earned at any time during your playthrough and can be done wither either Corvo or Emily.

The earliest and easiest opportunity to work on this is during Mission 1, A Long Day in Dunwall. Before leaving Emily's safe room, make sure to loot the pistol and the extra bullets on the workstation near the tower's exit. Once you reach the city streets, and after learning about Drop Assassinations and taking out the first guard in the courtyard below, climb the nearby stairs and hop on the ledge to get a full view of the street. You should see four guards speaking.

Make a manual save here (you can revert back to this save if you mess up) and drop down to the street. Now equip the pistol, sprint towards the guards, and tap to slide. As you are sliding, adjust your reticle as necessary and try to fire a single bullet at one of the guard's heads. If you're lucky, you should score a headshot and unlock the achievement, though don't feel defeated if it takes a few tries.

NOTE: If you are having trouble getting the achievement on the first mission, you can try again later after using Runes to unlock the "Reflexes" skill and its upgrade, "Focused Slide."

When playing without magic, you can make it easier for yourself to aim by first stunning the enemy and planting him in front of any vertical surface (on the ), so that the head is at waist level. We move away from the poor guy to the distance of a tackle and “lo and behold,” the sight will be at head level! Shot...

There is also a perk that slows down time while sliding, I advise you to get it, it’s much easier with it

I did it in the third chapter using a Crossbow, but it didn’t work with a pistol.
