Mission 7 - The Flooded District
To spare Daud's life, blink until you are close enough to pickpocket his pouch from him, and steal the key, then immediately blink away out of the window and you can exit the area, as opposed to killing him and grabbing the key.
if he catches you trying to steal it, just wait till he releases you and blink away, he won't pursue.
This achievement will pop once you leave the area via the tunnels you used the key to reach.

This is broken for me, I knocked him out, took the key and left and it popped up I spared him but no achievement. I loaded the save and beat him then spared him. Still no achievement,
LOL it just popped now about 30-45 minutes after I gave up.
I think the Remnant II install may have delayed it.

I think the intended moment for this is after beating him and then choosing to spare him because before the fight, you're in more danger than he is. Pickpocketing him works as well though.

There is 2 ways to get this achievement:
The first is the easy method and the second is more badass,
Method 1:
When you get to Daud's base in the chapter "The flooded district", go to daud take the key when he freezes time and run for the tunnel.
In this video is shown how to do it:
Method 2:
When you get to Daud's base make your way to Daud and engage in combat, he will make his way outside and there will be a part where he begs you to spare him and he just wants to disapear. If you spare him and walk away the achievement will pop.

I got this achievement by sneaking up behind him and just choking him out. That way you can get his pouch, key, and the bone charm he has on him. Also, you should go back the way you came in because now you have the key to the door that leads you down to the sewer and a relic.
