How to unlock the Versatile achievement in Dishonored Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
Basically, kill at least one person with each weapon and gadget. This will require some upgrades, and blueprints for the upgrades. You do not need any magical powers.
- Crossbow Bolt - Incendiary Bolt
- Regular Bullet - Explosive Bullet
- Grenade - Sticky Grenade
- Springrazor
- Corvo's Blade (melee kill and stealth kill)
Blueprint locations:
Mission: House of Pleasure
Item: Incandescent Paste Incendiary Bolt Blueprints
Location: Use the valve-controlled door located within the Distillery to reach the blueprint with slow time or use Blink on the up wall.
Mission:Lady Boyle's Last Party
Item: Spiked Grenade Housing Sticky Grenade Blueprints
Location: Before entering the Mansion through the side entrance (which enters into the main hall and staircase), take a left and enter a side door into a guard's room to find the blueprints on a table.
Mission: Return to the Tower
Item: Small-Scale Combustion Refinement Explosive Bullets
Location: Once you're inside Dunwall Tower, check the rooms on the second floor, and you will find this in the General's office.
Just an important note here with the Explosive Bullets! You need to get a kill with the Explosion, not the bullet so aim a little right or left from the guy you're trying to get the kill.
Also, you can get this on the No kill/Ghost play-through. Just collected all the blueprints and go on a kill mode on the last mission, then reload your save when the achievement pops. It's the two types of pistol rounds, two types of crossbow bolts, two types of grenades, spring razor, and sword.
Good luck and have fun!:)

The following is a list of required weapons
Corvo's Blade - Must be a kill from behind
Gun - Regular Bullet, Explosive Bullet ( Must aim near the target so explosion kills him not the bullet).
*For those struggling with explosive Bullet kill. Load Lady Boyles Party. At the beginning if you head to the opposite side of the river, into a building. There will be around 8 weepers gathered around each other. Shoot the wall or floor near them and the explosion will definatly kill one of them. *
Crossbow - Standard Bolt, Incendiary Bolt (If you miss blueprint these bolts drop as loot from the Tallboy)
Grenades - Standard Grenade, Sticky Grenade
Springrazor Trap - Run through a door when being chased, plant the trap in the doorway as you know you will be followed.
If you miss the blueprints and have completed the game just reload the levels where blueprints can be found.
If you don't have the Sticky Grenade Blueprint:
- Mission 05: Before entering Boyle’s mansion, look around for a guard station at the gate near the entrance. Inside, you can find a blueprint on the guard’s desk.
- Mission 07: Look inside the building filled with armed criminals, and search the wrecked hallway for this blueprint.
Explosive Bullets Blueprint Location
- Mission 06: Search the General’s office in the Dunwall Tower interior area. His is one of the four central offices up the stairs.
- Mission 07: Enter the Central Rail Station, look inside a crashed train car to find this hidden blueprint.

The Sticky Grenade Blueprint in Mission 7 is found after the Daud area in a building on the far side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTYoP44G6U8

You will need to get these kills on guards to be safe.
Kills needed (1 each)
-Sword
-Normal pistol bullet
-Explosive pistol bullet
-Normal bolts
-Incendiary bolts
-Regular grenades
-Sticky grenades
-Springrazor
You won't be able to get sticky grenades or explosive bullets without their blueprints which are located in Mission 05 and 06 respectively. Sticky grenades in Mission 05 in a guards room before you enter the Boyle's party. Explosive bullets on a table in the General's room once you enter the tower.

Getting the weapons and gadgets for this achievement is pretty straightforward for the most part. Incendiary bolts can be acquired from traps such as in the sewer of the Dishonored mission.
Sticky grenades and explosive bullets require blueprints. The first is lying on a table in a guard house just before the entrance to Lady Boyle's estate. If you miss that one you have another chance in the Flooded District right after leaving Daud hideout. Upon leaving Central Rudshore by tunnel, you will emerge into a slum area. On your right are sum rats, and a bone charm sitting on a rock in standing water. The blueprint is in the other direction, to your left. As you walk that way, the building on your left that you can enter has a plague ill woman named Alfa on the third or fourth floor. It also has a rune on the roof and overlooks the tracks of the train you can use to bypass the Tallboys guarding Rudshore gate. The blue print is not in this building but in the building directly across the wide gap across from it, the one holding the dumping grounds for plague victims. If you see a man bringing another barely alive man to the dumping grounds, the blueprints should be nearby, near the stairs.
The other blueprint for explosive bullets are in General Tobias' office in Dunwall tower. It is on the third floor, not far from the Lord Regent's bedroom. The best way to reach it is from the balcony you can reach from the bedroom. Standing on the railing, you can use Blink to reach the walkway on the other side, the same side of the building that has the arc pylon guarding the propaganda transmitter. Once you are on this walkway, walk away from the arc pylon, go through the wood paneled room; in the hallway through the glass double doors is the General's office. A guard should be standing guard directly opposite the door to the office. If you sleep dart him quickly, and grab him you should be able to get into the office without anyone else being alerted.
The blueprint will be on the desk of that office.
