The easiest way I've found to do this is to get above the tall boy, Blink over his head and hit 
when you get there. There are several video of people just blinking up to them from the ground and I found that's way harder to do cause they are usually moving.

How do I get this achievement to pop? I thought you couldn't use powers so I jumped to stab in in the same spot in the video and it still didn't work.

Easiest place to do this is at the beginning of Lady Boyle's Last Party. After Samuel drops you off, go up the steep bank to the right; there's one guard on foot whom you can take out first, and then a tallboy patrolling in that area with no other enemies nearby to bother you.
Slashing at a tallboy's feet/legs will do absolutely no good; to get this trophy you've gotta get above him and press R2 as you fall for a drop assassination. Upgraded Blink and Bend Time/Stop Time are helpful to achieve this. (Using powers doesn't count against the "using only your sword" requirement.
) For the tallboy at the beginning of Lady Boyle's Last Party, you can blink onto the top of the lamppost, or else go through the abandoned building (be aware there are a bunch of Weepers inside on the first floor) then blink from the balcony back around the corner to get above the tallboy. If you've used Bend Time or Stop Time, it's a cinch to then aim Blink a few feet above his head and drop down to assassinate.
