How to unlock the Whisper Ways achievement in Dishonored Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
The following achievements can all be earned in one playthrough. By following this and the Cleaner Hands achievement, you will get Redemptive Path automatically.
This achievement is very simple and should not be too hard, but if you struggle there are plenty of good guides on youtube.
All you have to focus on is not killing anybody and not alerting anybody. An enemy will be alerted if all three bars above their heads fill up and break. If an enemy has the three bars filled up but they have not broken, the enemy is not yet alerted to your presence. A kill is counted as anybody who dies by your hands, or using machinery to kill someone (like a Wall of Light). You are of course allowed to knock people out. Sleep darts are your best friend. There will always be for each target nonlethal means of getting rid of them, so always take those routes.
A very important note is if you DO knock someone out, make sure to hide their body, either in a dumpster or somewhere else, as sometimes enemies can discover these bodies and this will disqualify you from the achievement.
It is recommended to save these three achievements for your second, nonlethal playthrough. By completing the game in High Chaos first, you will know the level layout, what to do and where to go, enemy positions, secrets, etc., which makes it much easier to do your nonlethal playthrough.
At the end of each level, ensure the boxes labeled "Ghost, never detected" and "Didn't kill anyone" are ticked.
