How to unlock the Long Live the Empress achievement in Dishonored - Definitive Guide

This achievement is called "Long Live the Empress" and you get this for saving Emily and beating the game.

*CONTAINS SPOILERS*

Saving Emily:

Low Chaos - Really simple, enter the Greenhouse. Either sleep dart or directly confront Havelock either way grab the key and go unlock Emily's door. (Achievement Unlocked)

High Chaos - Climb the Lighthouse, stay hidden and headshot Havelock with a crossbolt. Really handy if you have the Lens Magnification upgrade. Emily will appear to fall...run to the edge and press X where you see her hands.

Or if your not going for the "Mostly Flesh and Steel" Achievement...just use possession on Havelock and walk him to the edge and end possession so he falls to his death then go after Emily.

(Achievement Unlocked)

Ah, so if you don't deal with Havelock you don't get this one? I guess that's why he showed up as optional... I did all my optionals.

On high Chaos you have to pretty much no matter what...on Low Chaos you don't even have to do anything...grab the key even just straight up jump down and talk to him lol...he just doesn't care.

You will gain this on your Low Chaos playthrough. If you are playing on High Chaos, then you must actually save her from falling. Low Chaos, she is in a room and not in harm's way.
